Actually, you don’t lose the metallic finish. When you get up to it in full sun you get the sparkle under the matte.

Mine doesn't sleep. I've got all the TeslaFi settings within the #'s they recommend. My lowest on my daily commute has been 287, once. My average is 331. I drive through hills and valleys on the way to & from work daily.
