You make the check to either “Tesla, Inc.” or “Tesla Motors, Inc.”, according to my ISA. Either option will work fine.

Same situation here (delivery on Tuesday). Just received the signed agreement an hour ago (Sunday night). But my ISA told the bank that they would accept something as simple as a FedEx tracking number as proof that the payment is on the way, and they'll go ahead with delivery on that basis...
