Ive had my 3rd row seatbelts wrapped in a white towel and no issue so far. But yea, its super annoying how it's only the third row with this problem.

Doesn't work. Used degreaser on both seats and seatbelt. Only thing I haven' tried but was tempted to was Nylon Paint remover.

Welp its mostly gone unfortunately the far corners on the third row didnt get replaced. So theres still a stain. Im trying to see if they can do anything but even if they cant I still think that having the majority of it on the main seat cushions is fine. I can live with it at this point.

Van Nuys, CA Update: Hot Damn! Got the invoice and it got replaced for free. Going to pick it up now.

Just updating people on my issue with the dye transfer from the seatbelts. Tesla is replacing the entire third row. Unfortunately even after arguing that it's a manufacturer defect, the best they'll do is $195. Went with it and now my seats are fine again.

If you don't mind the price: Tesla Ultrawhite | Colourlock This is for Tesla's "Ultra White" color and it works pretty well.

From what I saw in another thread one Tesla Service Center couldn't clean it and said they were just replacing the entire row. I've got an appointment on the 30th of this month and I'm on the same path. They're doing a "goodwill" detailing and we'll see where that takes us.

How long have you had the car before you noticed the problem? I recieved my MY7 at end of april and I noticed this problem after unfolding the seats before a trip to vegas. I've arranged for a service center to look at it but it'll take a month. Just wanted to see if they gave you any grief for it.

Honestly surprised this hasn't been class-actioned yet tbh.
