I can tell you that their customer service is lacking. I received the rear seat back protectors and was asking if there were installation instructions because they didn’t seem to fit correct. They didn’t respond. But they did respond when I said I wanted to return it… only with a boiler plate...

Yup, works exactly as needed and was much cheaper than even if I had someone just install a 50amp breaker with a 14-50 outlet. Quotes to do even that without a permit was about $1000.

I'm in San Jose too and only have 100 amp (overhead) service to my home. The numerous quotes I've gotten from licensed electricians has been $4,000+ to upgrade my service to 200 amps and install a NEMA 14-50. That's more than I wanted to spend, so I ended up buying a splitter to share the dryer...

You got that right! My EDD went from more than a month out to accepting delivery in 5 days and I almost felt like I wasn't ready.

So you didn't try to match the front and backs, right? I was thinking 20% as well, but it looks really dark. Do you feel like you need to roll the windows down at night when making turns?

That’s correct, overheard service. Had it not been overhead, it wouldn’t have been something I’d even consider.

@Jasonb2710 I ran into the same problem and got several quotes from switching to quad breakers to a 200amp service upgrade. The cheapest non-permitted work that anyone would quote me was about $700 to add a 50amp breaker and install a NEMA 14-50 outlet. A service upgrade would have set me back...

You can try MAR Quality Protection (Prices & Services) in Newark. They seem reasonably priced and Raj has been very pleasant to talk to. I have an appointment for June with them to get PPF along the front of my Y.
