The Thames Valley winter sun and damp roads seem to be causing my Model 3 to disable cruise control etc very frequently when driving into the sun. How can Tesla hope to deliver full self driving in the foreseeable future - or is this just my car?

Yes, ‘the outstanding 19” issue should be cleared by end Nov (2019!)’ is broadly what Delivery Team GB said to me today. There was enough awareness of the problem and detail behind their plans that I’d give it an odds on chance of happening.

If it’s any comfort Delivery Team GB just gave me a fairly convincing explanation that Tesla Inc is aware of the 19” problem and have plans in place to resolve it by end November. Still a long wait, of course, but changing spec now might not be any faster.
