I finally captured a video of AP handling a decently difficult stretch of road with no lane markings. It has curves and crests. Albeit at 30 MPH, I think it did a great job.

I experienced something similar. I have a road that goes from well marked lines to no lines. It went 3 miles on the no line road on AP 2.5 with no issue. The road had curves, hills and dips. It seemed as if it tracked the right edge of the road and used a fixed with for the left.

I’m curious as to why, too?

I had this happen to me when I left for vacation. The Tesla App kept failing to connect. I thought I was a victim of phantom drain, and I was going to have to jump my car when I returned. Turned out it was just the MCU bonked out and wouldn’t respond to anything but a two thumb salute.

Not sure this is true. 2018.7 went to a S P100D and 90D. However, 2018.5 went to a S 90D and 75D and X 90D. So looks like only possibly one that got 2018.5 got 2018.7.

The new flavor should be soon; we are almost to the start of week 10 and haven’t seen 2018.8.
