    P85DL+ for sale

I have a pristine 2015 P85D+ offered for sale in Scottsdale AZ 2015 Tesla Model S P85D. This is not just any P85D. This is one of the few P85Ds that have been upgraded by Tesla to Ludacris (0-60 in 2.8 sec!!!). Additionally, it was manufactured in March of 2015, when Tesla was including the...

    P85 vs 85D

Also, keep in mind that all 85D’s will have AP1 hardware and some will have next gen seats which are a huge improvement over the original Tesla seats. Autopilot P85’s are rare and none have next gen seats. If these things are important to you then the 85D will be the way to go.

Crazy Carwash fail!!! Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had a really alarming issue in my local Cleanfreak car wash on 2 separate occasions. I have a 2015 P85D and when I take it to the carwash the following happens. About 3/4 of the way through the carwash the car goes into park and gives me a "check charge port" warning. From what I can...

Looking for some wisdom for choosing 75D vs 100D

This is a very good point. I bought a model S supplement my sports car (BMW z4m). I figured I commute to work in the Tesla and enjoy the sports car more on the weekends. Not a chance, the BMW has been collecting dust since I got the Tesla, and it’s now on the market. Once you go electric you...

Performance Price Change, Delivery Delay, and Tesla Called me to Ask Why I Didn"t Order the P

This is probably nothing to be concerned about, manufacturers frequently do this. The factory top speed can not exceed the speed rating of the tires, so most likely the tires that come standard have a lower speed rating. Acceleration should not be affected

Tesla gave me a loaner P85D, now I hate my 75D

I feel as though I am in a good position to comment on this subject. I bought a rwd 75 just before the uncork was announced, and made the mistake of driving a friends p85d. The difference is night and day. The power off the line and the midrange passing power was a total game changer (I also...

    New navigation on dash?

I have a 2015 P85D and running 10.4 (just updated yesterday). I just checked and my nav looks exactly like the picture. I don’t use it much so I’m not sure what’s changed. What’s different?

Kid's seat in rear of Model S.

I had the same issue with my son's booster. The seatbelt receptacle ends up under the seat making it very hard to buckle for him. I moved his seat to the passenger side, where there are 2 receptacles (One for the outboard seat and one for the middle) and he can get at it a little better...

P90D - What battery versions should I avoid?

You could always get a P85D with Ludicrous now, save a few bucks and not have to worry as much about battery degradation. If you're lucky you may even find one with the + suspension Happy Hunting

    2018 75D vs. 2014 P85D

Good move, You won't regret it. I think there is way too much focus on 0-60 times. The big advantage of the P85D (or any larger battery car) is the higher power at speed. The small battery cars (at 350 volts) run out of steam very quickly. The uncorking made them faster off the line, but...

    2018 75D vs. 2014 P85D

While I agree that residual value is likely a crapshoot, I faced a similar dilemma. I bought a new, lightly optioned 75 in April at a time when the CPO inventory was low. Shortly after purchase I made a few discoveries. 1) AP2.0 wasn’t close to the performance of 1.0. 2) new 75’s and 75D’s...
