    Random Roadster Sightings

Do what I do, "Improve through equipment". I'll let you know when I've bought the right equipment that truly shows off my hidden/non-existent artistic talents.

    Roadster 3.0

Drove the car from SF to LA. He's seen the car, it looks, "interesting" and more "modern" He has no details on pricing and timing of availability. He reiterated that Roadster is high on Elon's mind and they appreciate Roadster owners as part of what got Tesla as a company going.

My SC guy said he broke one while installing it.

1.5 to 2.5 nose conversion info needed

Front bumpers are plastic. Rear bumpers too. And I heard trunk lid on 2.0 and 2.5 as well. Tesla charged me something like $450 for the bumper, for that price, it's definitely plastic.

Another accident for Rafael de Mestre's Roadster

On a regular interval, I get temptations to just bite the bullet and sell the Roadster and get a Model S. Its just so much more practical for my family. Then September rolls around and I'm due for my annual service. The service center will then give me a Model S for the day, and usually for the...

    Roadster 3.0

And the for unveiling, they prob have to pick a nice warm sunny day, not hot to need AC and not cold to need heater. No rain, or else that's a few percentage points of range. Not too windy, light traffic conditions. Seems more selective than a SpaceX rocket launch.

1.5 to 2.5 nose conversion info needed

I did a private conversion when the body shop was replacing my bumper due to a crack from a minor accident. SC gave me a part list, I'll see if I can dig that up for you.

is the roadster "buggy" as a daily driver?

Had my 1.5 for about 3 years now. Never had to go into service center for anything other than annual service. Now, I don't have a MS, and I don't want to speak for the MS owners. But from what I read, most MS owners can't say the same.

BSM: V_ess too low during precharge, t2

Solution to cold toes during winter

Ok, even if you turn up the heater to toasty, odds are you toes are still kinda cold in our poorly insulated Roadster. As I was reading Engadget, came across this puppy on their CES reporting: Digitsole - The first connected insole: Click, warm and track! Insole warmer. Not sure how long it...

    Roadster 3.0

That's weird. Before I got my roadster, I asked my cousin there if he ever had to charge his in the wild. It was an emphatic no. So I'm surprised to hear hk guys would care about extended range.

Need help understanding charging options in Bellingham area...

Question: If the Model S does NOT have supercharging enabled, AND Tesla really did come out with an ChadeMo adapter, will it work? Basically is MS DC capable without Supercharging enabled?

    No Extended Warranty in WA?

No as in doesn't exist at this time. According to her, still working on it.
