I use my podpoint home charger to set the schedule time to start and stop. I just plug my car in. Can you set it on your home charger instead?

I am still on a single rate of 15p, and getting around 4.1p per mile. But I need to renew at the end of September and all the prices have gone up substantially (about 25% to 20p per kWh), so I if I stay on single tariff, it would go up to about 5-6p per mile. If you have regenerative breaking on, then put your foot on the accelerator a little (so the car doesn't start slowing down when you disengage) and then push the right stick upwards.

I was in the same position as you 6 months ago. I have to say, if you buy a BMW then no one will care. You see them everywhere. If you buy a Tesla then everyone will care and want to have a ride with you. You just don't get that feeling with anything else. I have never regretted my desicion...

Altrincham, Greater Manchester has so many around now. Every time I go out, I see about 3 or 4. My eldest daughter's primary school has 4 white Model 3's and a black Model X alone! Only had one person wave back at me here since I bought my car in March 2021.

M3 LR - forgot to mention that I drove inner city most days and can get about 210 miles out of a 80% charge. Any chance you got a SR by mistake?

M3 LR (bought march 2021) - I drove Manchester to Heathrow a couple of weeks ago - a 380 mile round trip. Got to Heathrow with over 50% charge, so I could have made it there and back on one 100% charge. I had no traffic though, and drove at 70mph most of the time. Weather was also around 15C.

I would recommended downloading the podpoint app. It shows pod point chargers - including the free ones at supermarkets. For example, I need to go to York and there are no Tesla chargers anywhere near there. But there is a nice free charger in Lidl - not a super charger, but at least that's...
