    How "rattly" is the Plaid?

My Model S creaks like an old house on a windy day. Its genuinely awful. Service center tried twice to fix it and failed.

Refresh Map Auto-Center/Auto Zooms with 2023.6.8

It doesn't respect this while navigating and will go back to its preferred zoom level after a few seconds. Same as above, after a few seconds it will go back to whatever it feels like.

Refresh Map Auto-Center/Auto Zooms with 2023.6.8

Recently, I think 2023.6.8, Tesla changed the map to automatically recenter on the vehicle when not navigating. I find this infuriating. Even worse, when navigating it won't let you change the zoom level, and resets it to some stupid zoom level whenever it feels like it. Has anyone figured...

    Traffic Visualization change on 2022.28.2

No, its not the average of both directions, that would be silly. As I mentioned its Tesla's own traffic data as opposed to googles that is shown on the maps when Nav is not engaged.

    Traffic Visualization change on 2022.28.2

No I didn't randomly get FSD... Here is the traffic shown on the IC. Here is the normal traffic: And with routing on: You can see the yellow doesn't perfectly line up with the orange/red traffic. Not to bad here, but in some instances it was much worse. Talking to someone more...

    Traffic Visualization change on 2022.28.2

I noticed that with 2022.28.2 that traffic now shows up on the instrument cluster which is neat. However it seems that now when you have navigation on the traffic is wrong. I was driving yesterday in some traffic and noticed that when a route is selected the blue line turns yellow/orange in...

GPS accuracy new model S Plaid

Had the same issue. The SC reset the DAS (not sure what that is) which helped alot. They claimed the interior camera also needed to be replaced. I had them do that at another visit but it didn't seem to change anything. Its much better now, but it will still be off by 10-20ft sometimes. Way...

    24" wheels

Well for one thing, in July 2015 there was no model X.

    FSD subscription for road trips

So if you have enhanced autopilot, and you sign up for an FSD subscription for a month, what do you get?

    No Yoke

My 2014 is superior to my 2021 in a number of ways. Interior storage space, real leather (particaulary compared to the crap plastic covering on the yoke), 3rd row seats, massive frunk, configurable dash, real buttons, way better controls. My 2021 is way better in alot of other ways, but it...

2021 Model S (LR) - Real world driving range

Same here. On a 60-70 degree day, driving at 68mph on the highway without stops I can get better than the rated range. In normal day to day use, or driving at higher speeds its alot less. For instace I usually drive 200 miles a week and charge once a week. So 90-20% over a week period I get...

    disappointed about tesla interior

I love the current S interior. It's elegant and simple. With the excpetion of the steering wheel, all of the materials feel great and are top notch. That Nio interior is hideous, although not as bad as the interior in the MB EQS. They are all just so gaudy and overdone. I don't know if the...

    Show of hands… Adaptive Suspension

Mine works just fine, its just not the night and day difference that it seems like folks are expecting.

    Show of hands… Adaptive Suspension

The difference between all the way firm and all the way soft is pretty subtle, but its definetly there. I think the Op is just expecting too much, this isn't a mag suspension after all. Mine are pretty much the same when stopped, when moving I've seen upwards of 60%
