    [UK] 2024.8.x

Yes, I got it on my December 2020 SR+ a couple of days ago. Adaptive headlights work a treat, very impressed. Hopefully not long for you!

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

Apologies if this update has already been posted. What looks to be 24 V3 stalls and 6 cabinets have been installed at South Mimms (existing site expansion) but they are still fenced off. Hopefully not long now until these go live.

    In car equipment

My December 2020 SR+ doesn't have a heated steering wheel.

Interestingly, the wheel stopper things have been removed from the Superchargers at Wyboston Lakes. I wonder if this is in anticipation of other EVs being able to use them.

    Octopus Go tariff billing

Likewise, mine's all over the place. They tend to catch up eventually.

Charging at 16amps only with Rolec 22kw charger

As per previous replies, your car is behaving normally. 16A across three phases is 11kW, the maximum speed your car can charge on AC. You see 32A at home because this is on a single phase, and is just over 7kW.

Gridserve Charger Sites in UK [megathread]

I was in the Norwich area today so thought I'd pop by the new Gridserve to see how progress is coming along. Pretty well by all accounts, the Supercharger area is already clearly visible:

How much does Octopus Energy charge to upgrade meter tails?

    Likewise. Didn't cost me anything.

    Octopus Go price increases..

If you send Octopus an email stating which gas tariff you want to go onto, and ask for your electricity tariff to remain on Go, they'll make it happen.

Speed of DC 50kW CCS chargers

My understanding is that this is also a function of battery pack voltage. 50kW chargers are often current limited to 125A which can push 50kW into a pack at 400V, but a low state of charge pack at 350V for example, consuming 125A is only 43kW.

PCN at supercharger Kings Lynn despite reasonable efforts

I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you. It's is simply not the customer experience Tesla should be aiming for. That said, I'm glad to hear you've got it sorted out on this occasion!

2021 Model 3 LR Seat Creak

I had the exact same issue on my 2021 SR+. Some kind of plastic/rubber grommet inside the seat back had unseated (not a pun) itself and was rubbing against an adjacent metal piece, and was an easy fix for the Chelmsford SC. The perceived quality of the car is so much higher without the creaking...

    Agile be crazy today

Blimey, I'm glad I switched back to Go! That's what happens when there's next to no wind I suppose.

    Green number plates

Yes, I got mine from ukregplates.co.uk. I was very pleased with their service.

    Dashcam/Sentry keeps failing

I have this issue. Added it to a service appt on 6th Jan.
