Car location on Map is off by few meters

Tesla estimate of its position without GPS is pretty poor. Driving in 6 km tunnel with my previous 2008 ICE car (Škoda==Volkswagen) was off by about 30 meters. Tesla is off by about 100 meters. Sure its gets in sync once one gets out of the tunnel but still. It is probably unrelated to the OP...

    Anyone use OEM console holder?

The phone/battery is getting hot during wireless charging which is not good for the (phone) battery. I admit I was not investigating exact numbers to support that claim.

That was correct. Here you should have used MWh. :^)

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Could you suggest how? I believe when one resets the TPMS with low pressure it will still give the warning. I am abroad from my car so I will be able to test it only in a few months. One can set a type of tires so I can experiment whether some of the types do not have the minimum limit lower but...

What about solars, they go hand in hand with EVs.

    Charge On Solar Australia

I use my script to charge Tesla only from excessive solar energy (but I prioritize Tesla before solar battery). It is using GoodWe inverter. It will need some little adjustment to charge above 50% as currently I live longterm 10000km away from my parket Tesla so I haven't yet tried driving on...

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Unfortunately between 35-36 PSI Tesla starts annoying with a warning. While 32 PSI or even some people say down to 20 PSI is still a valid pressure. The lower the pressure the better braking which is all what matters. I do not mind some percents of lower range as long as my car has not bumped...

Vendor Wish you could reduce Supercharging usage? Looking for testers

The installation cost can vary a lot. For me Wall Charger was CZK 14900 == USD 635 and its installation cost was almost zero installing it myself, just buying some 32A wires for maybe USD 10. I already had there prepared a circuit breaker box for other 3-phase outlets for garden (such as for a...

Vendor Wish you could reduce Supercharging usage? Looking for testers

The www.dockcharged.com "Particulars" table is not fair. It should also state: 15kWh DockCharged DockCharged Tesla Wall Connector maximum charge overnight (8 hours) 75 miles 405 miles purchase cost USD 15000 or how much - we do not know USD 475 lifetime 15 years unlimited Or...

Is an Ac to Dc converter safe to use in a Tesla?

I use such converter for charging my Lenovo laptop and wife's HP laptop and normally it works. But few times we did trip Tesla's cigarette lighter breaker. One just needs to wait some long time - around 15 minutes before the Tesla cigarette lighter outlet starts working again. Be careful when...

Installing a level 3 charger at home

    https://www.evolutionaustralia.com.au/product-page/delta-dc-fast-charger-wallbox - 25kW for USD 10130.

Installing a level 3 charger at home

So IIUC level 3 (L3) 3-phase chargers probably use 3x phase-to-phase voltage 480V (and not 3x phase-to-ground 277V). So connecting 1-phase wire 3 times will not work as there is 0V phase-to-phase difference. I am solving that as when I live in the Philippines (like now) there is only 1-phase...

Installing a level 3 charger at home

OK, so USA is really different from Europe. USA has separate distribution+voltage for 3-phase (3x480V) vs. 1-phase/"2-phase" (wired as either 2x120V or 1x240V) distribution. While in Europe the same distribution/voltage can be wired as 3-phase (3x400V) or 1-phase (1x230V). IIUC USA does not use...

Installing a level 3 charger at home

Are you sure you cannot connect the same single phase to all the 3 inputs? Normally 3 phase is used so that you need less amperes but if you already have "unlimited" amperes wire. Still it will be only 240V x 3 (phase-against-ground) and not 400V x 3 (phase-against-phase). BTW I expect your 480V...

Odd supercharger routing and -10% arrival on recent trip.

That "Reroute to save" I had to increase to 30 minutes (I hope that is enough). Otherwise it sends you to woods around to avoid a slight traffic jam that was some time ago on the freeway you are driving.
