Private Reg Plate - Returning car

Hi guys - I've recently taken my private plate OFF the Lease vehicle (Lease Returns UK @ Tesla) in preperation for the car to be returned. However, as the registration was put onto a car owned (legally) by Tesla, the retention document is now being sent to Tesla, as the registered keeper. Has...

    PCH Early return?

Here’s the email I sent… I am due to have new tires fit to my Tesla M3 Performance this afternoon. They are Kumho 235/35 R20 Y92, meeting the speed (Y92) and seasonality (A-rated) requirements. They are not “T0” Tesla-approved tires. I am writing to confirm this will be accepted at lease end –...

    PCH Early return?

I'm now being told that the tyres i've ordered (kumho ecsta ps91) are "not tesla approved". Looking at BlackCricle, only the PIlot 4S Acoustic (+£100 per tyre vs Kumho) are "T0" and "Tesla approved". The spec is otherwise the same (speed & seasonality rating etc). Will Tesla kick off about this...

    PCH Early return?

Anyone know the cost per wheel if returned with mild/significant curb rash?

    PCH Early return?

Will Tesla expect any “modifications” to the car to be reverted to original? For me, I need to consider reverting; - changed lighting footwells & door pools - red sticker on Tesla logo front & back - spring-loaded struts on boot/frunk - Matt plastic cover on piano surfaces interior - privacy...

    PCH Early return?

Hi all - Anyone any experience with an early return of Tesla on a PCH? I'm due to take delivery of a new car (Defender 110) in April, 3 months before contract due to end. I don't want to pay for the remaining months (£700 a month!) and having ran an early return quote in the app, it's showing...

    Model 3 Wading Ability

Just to add, before I bought my M3P I had a 4.0l BMW X6... supposedly a SUV capable of flying around a track and climbing a muddy mountain in equal measure... ... Having had to hand the car back for 2 months and have £20k of engine rebuild (luckily under warranty!) due to water ingress into...

Tesla Wall Connector - keeps fusing?

Hi all, sorry for delay in response on this!... but the story thickens! It's an RCB with a test button, 32A. It was checked by the installer and no problems identified. Highlighted the smart meter may be giving off signals which interfere with the RCB causing it to trip... this does make some...

Self-driving cars (level 3) to be allowed on UK roads

I am assuming, based on definitions of level 3 autonomous driving, that this would mean no more need to wiggle the steering wheel every 30 seconds? Sounds like automated lane changing etc is still out of scope though... sounds to me like the proposed Gov recommendation is moving us only to level...

Tesla Test Drives in the UK . .

If it was said with genuine courtesy and a desire to educate I'd agree, but this was certainly said with a whiff of "Oh look, this poor idiot doesn't know how to close a frunk, who let this guy in?". I think it was said slightly in jest ie. Yea we all know Tesla are a bit special (just like...
