i was driving 60ish mph and had to slow down on an exit ramp for ezpass. this was when when i heard a really loud (maybe it was loud because the radio was off. girlfriend was on the phone) clicking/clinging sound. i didn't run over anything (or atleast i could see), nor i felt any "impact"...

update to my situation - SC said that the master charger defaulted. they replaced it and it did the trick. i asked him if this is common problem he told me that it's not. he said that that mine was the 2nd case and around my 42k vin #.

scrap that. mine wont charge at all now!!

it looks like i'm plagued with the same problem last night (saturday night). the car is still displaying "unable to charge" error message, but it's -charging- at 12 mi/hr (16/30A; 243-247V). the car is about 5 weeks old.

just took delivery today, and i got my tesla's moment already. just driving through town for dinner, there was another tesla high-beaming me with a thumb up. :)

took delivery at springfield, nj, today! coming off m3, i must say that the car is bigger in size, but light years ahead in terms of technology. well worth the wait!! now, just need find more "errands to run"! ;-)

talking about timing! this morning i was looking at this thread saying the same about myself. my status is still "sourcing for parts", and it's scheduled for delivery on june 27th. anyhow, i got a call this morning asking if i can take delivery 1 week earlier!?! unfortunately, i cant because...
