If you're leasing, will you always charge to 100%? I know charging to 85% is best for battery life but if you're returning the car in 3 years then what's the incentive? Especially since you can't purchase the car after lease.

I would call and ask them to trace the car using the VIN. That'll give you more info and hopefully a timeline.

Got a Text from Tesla to confirm my delivery date for 12/24. Instructions said to reply 'Yes' to confirm and that if I don't then my car might be re-assigned. I replied 'Yes' right away but got no reply. This happen to anyone else?

Just an update: vin in source code 12/16, availability form 12/17, text from tesla (we'll contact you soon...)12/18, still no VIN in main page as of 12/19. Ordered 10/18. Bay area. DC says mostly likely after xmas. sigh..

Does any one know if they will run the credit application once the delivery date is confirmed? Or did they already run it when the order was placed? I ask because I freeze all my credit (all 3) and only unfreeze it when credit is being run (precaution cuz my company was hacked a few years back).
