Not the UK Supercharger Site News thread

Any more news on Rownhams? I drove through the services at the beginning of Nov. and there was no evidence of S/C construction. Hoping it will be ready in time for Xmas...

Blog Musk Touts ‘Quantum Leap” in Full Self-Driving Performance

Forgive me for not getting very excited. In Europe, we still have the modern equivalent of the Red Flag Acts of the nineteenth century which conspire to render FSD close to useless. Whatever improvements Musk makes, they won't be coming our way, that's for sure. EU bureaucrats have made certain...

24 hours with the Polestar 2

Nice review. I tried Volvo's Pilot Assist on a V70 rental (a nice little upgrade surprise) before ever setting foot in a Tesla. I wasn't hugely impressed. In Lane Keeping mode, it slalomed from one side of the lane to the other constantly but in full Pilot Assist it was much better although I...

Will Tesla be able to deliver FSD with HW3.0 and current Model 3 sensor suite, ever?

Also, when using 'Navigate on Autopilot'...

Driving on the 'wrong' side of the road.

I'm wondering how Autopilot handles the transition from driving on the right to driving on the left (and vice-vrsa) when you go to a country that drives on the other side of the road from the side the car was made for. Any experiences to share?

    Cable advice

Thanks for that. It sounds like an adaptor is the way to go but that Juice Booster sounds tempting - especially as it works out cheaper than buying a home-charger and getting an electrician in to install it (you really don't want to know what Swiss electricians charge...)

    Cable advice

I have a question that's a slight variation of the one the OP asked: I am about to move into a new apartment where a 16A, 5-pin, 3-phase, red 'commando' socket is to be installed at my designated parking space. Does anyone know if there is an adapter I can use to plug a UMC into this socket to...
