Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I too have wondered when they'll start to model this in.

M3 issue in the Colorado Mountains

I'm not saying it never slips, but it's a controlled slip (I use low regen and chill when it's nasty outside). The car seems very sure footed to me. I'm sure truly icy conditions would suck, as these tires are performance snows not chunky snows, but so far they've performed admirably (we took it...

M3 issue in the Colorado Mountains

I can confirm this exactly. Dual motor with the 18" Sottozero II's on it and it's a dream in all kinds of conditions here in Colorado.

M3 issue in the Colorado Mountains

Great info and an awesome pic. I too have the Sottozero II's on our Dual Motor LR, and they're awesome. When it does slip, it handles itself very very well and inspires confidence to let it get loose in the snow. I do keep it on low regen and chill mode in the most slippery of conditions though.

M3 issue in the Colorado Mountains

Drove our AWD Model 3 with Sottozero II's through the Rockies to SLC this past week. Hit snow, ice, VERY cold temps, and I felt confident driving it the whole time. Great in the snow so far.

M3 issue in the Colorado Mountains

I have the 18" on our Dual Motor LR. We put the Sotozzero II's on it and cannot wait to try them out on I70 through the Colorado Rockies this weekend. I hope we hit snow.

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

Streaming through Spotify (set to highest bitrate) over BT is FAR better than the in car Slacker, even with a subscription. Try it, you can clearly hear the difference in quality.

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

It's always going to sound better in the front than the back. There are LARGER speakers in the front doors and your head is closer to the A pillar speakers.

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

Mine sounds great after the update over Slacker and Spotify through BT on my phone. Crystal clarity and punchy as all hell. I feel bad for all of those whose systems are borked for the moment.

    RPM’s Front Bumper/Apron Appliqué - Thoughts?

We really want this for our pearl white. But we've now got PPF on the front. Does it adhere well to the film I wonder?

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

It was already that way in my experience. There are much larger speakers in the front doors than the rears. I'll check the back later, but from the front it sounds unchanged since the update.

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

Went out this morning and we're now on 44.2. So far, zero issues with the sound system. Thank the melody Gods!

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

Software update in progress. I'm going to be one unhappy camper if we get in it tomorrow for the drive and find out the audio sucks. .

When will the Dual Motor badges arrive??

Our AWD Long Range came with the Dual Motor badge. I wasn't sure we'd want it, but we like it now that it's there.

Mercedes C300 or Model 3 for Son?

I voted Model 3, because, well Tesla. But really I think you should go with the first generation Volt. You can pick up a really good one for $13-16k these days. Had one for over a year before trading up to an M3 and we loved it. It's the perfect intro to EV's.
