LOL this Starship design is not going to work for human flight. It needs an escape capsule. Until it gets one this will be a cargo only rocket.

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink 4 - SLC-40

I might be mistaken but during stage separation the first stage seemed to be exposed to more of the second stage back blast than usual. This might have caused problems with the plumbing for the grid fins. I wonder if they have implemented the auxilary backup pump system for the grid fins yet.

The burn rate is over 9000!

    Orbital refueling

Doing complex things with fuel in orbit seems like a bad idea. Inevitibly something is going to go wrong and two large rockets will be destroyed causing a massive orbiting debris field.

    Now this is pretty cool.

Electric Pickup Roundup: Musk Says Tesla Truck 'Not Like Anything Else'

I have seen this before when I was a kid and into RC cars. It is the rear tailgate cover that slopes up to the cab. It is aerodynamic.

Active cooling seems dangerous if this is going to be human rated. I wonder what type of contingency plan they have to save the humans if the cooling system fails.

Wiki Super Heavy/Starship - General Development Discussion

I wonder how a pad abort or in flight abort system would work on the BFS. Having such a huge ship with integrated second stage would make it very heavy and therefore difficult to get away from a first stage explosion. Furthermore, what if there was a problem with the second stage. One has...

    (FAILURE) SpaceX Falcon 9 v1.1 launch - CRS-7

The NASA report seems fair and unbiased. They made some very valid points about using out of spec materials for critical rocket components. Do you really think we should just let the manufacturer tell us what the problem was when there is a catastrophic failure? Would you really be...

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

So lets think about this. 7500 satellites, 5 to 7 year lifespan, lets say 6 years. This means that SpaceX will need to launch one rocket with 105 satellites weighing about 40 tons every month for as long as they want to keep Starlink alive. The cost of the 12 launches would be around 1...

    Falcon Heavy - 7&8 Reuse - Elon's Roadster Demo - LC-39A

Here is the best video of the launch. I would even say it was better than the broadcast. Very cool.
