Update: Took it in today to my SC and they are going to replace the glass for free this Thursday. The foreman saw that there was clearly an alignment issue and suggested that users check this before trying to install as it obviously could cause problems.

This is correct. They don't illuminate the ground, that is what the doors do when you open the door. The handles just illuminate where you are to grab the handle and where the handle should be when looking for it in the dark.

That’s the feeling I’m getting with these updates. Typically when companies do this, a release of the next major version is about to come. So, while this may be a bad thing for current owners who are wanting more, it actually is a good thing because we may be getting something bigger VERY soon :)
