    Hawaii - Let's Count Teslas!

Sorry, I don't have all the info on the Big Island cars, but here's what I've been seeing just in the daytime around the island. Being the country bumpkin that I am, I don't get out after dark much. I suspect there are many more cars sequestered behind the gates of the resort subdivisions that...

    Hawaii Service Center experience

Once again, I just can't say enough good things about how well Tesla's employees treat us here on Hawaii Island. Erik dropped off the P85+ loaner at our house this morning and is now driving our car to Kawaihae Harbor some 45 miles away to be shipped to Honolulu for warranty work. While they...

    Hawaii Service Center experience

There is nothing the Honolulu team won't do to make owning a Tesla outer island a wonderful experience! I cannot begin to tell you folks all the big and little things they have done for us on the Big Island. They've worked on my "wife's car" in a gravel parking lot at Kona Airport (her place of...

    Supercharger in Hawaii

Here's my two cents... The Big Island, as most of you probably already know, is nearly twice as big as all the other islands combined. Call me unreasonable (I've been called worse), but I believe that if Elon wants to sell more cars to the hundreds of people from all over the world who have...

Hawaii Tesla - Fun and Interesting Stories -

Yes, I just started noticing curves really eat up the juice. In recent years on the ships we started saving tons of fuel on long passages using adaptive steering systems that minimized rudder movement. I'm thinking I can do the same staying in the middle of those curvy circle island country...

Hawaii Tesla - Fun and Interesting Stories -

Yes. Actual distance was about 90 miles. Used about 100 miles to get to the top of the saddle and regened about ten miles of range going downhill into Hilo.
