    Supercharger - Harker Heights, TX

I guess it looks like the voting map is even more outdated as it doesn't have the Temple Bucees as a location.

    Supercharger - Harker Heights, TX

I wonder why this site isn't shown as "Coming Soon" on the Tesla Supercharger locator. Maybe because it's a hosted install and not a Tesla planned location? I also think there is enough distance between Bucees and Market Heights -- especially being on two different highways. There is only 27...

Do I need to charge the battery weekly if driving only 100 miles a week?

Could the duration of this "calculating" period be indicative of the degree of variations in the cells or possibly just the quantity of cells that vary? Wondering if it would be beneficial to track the time it sits charging at the top as an indication of health of the pack or just the "sway"...

Stuck on “Calculating” at end of DCFC

This makes more sense than Tesla’s response. So why did it not recalculate the expected range since I technically drove for 6 miles with it continuing to display 209 miles? Would think that it should have added in those unbalanced cells that were brought up and displayed 215 mi range.

Stuck on “Calculating” at end of DCFC

Curious then if it was balancing the cells that 20-30min I was waiting, why did the range not go up after I stopped the charge session? Just sat at 209mi the whole time I was waiting.

Stuck on “Calculating” at end of DCFC

How long is it safe to leave it plugged in for this process? Would this not also happen when AC charging to 100%?

Stuck on “Calculating” at end of DCFC

I’ve taken our 2018 75D MX to fourteen Supercharger visits since taking possession. On a couple of these sessions I have actually charged up to 100% due to range or timing reasons. I understand 100% on DCFC is not optimal, but I have noticed an interesting issue. Both times I’ve attempted a...

Gen 3 wall connectors: 2 on same circuit?

I retract my previous statement about the fixed-in-place requirement as I was looking at the 2020 Code and not 2023. Not sure I agree with that as potentially anything with say a 14-50 plug can be connected to the circuit and not abide by the EMS shared load maximums, but code is constantly...

Gen 3 wall connectors: 2 on same circuit?

I don't think it's trying to imply that they can be on the same circuit, I just think they did a poor execution in stating a case where they might be on different SIZED breakers (i.e. one on a 60A and another on a 40A) since this is describing how one would need to go into each HPWC and set the...

Tesla wall connector gen3 overheating fix

Interesting to see this as I am having reduced charging issues with my Gen2 plug-in HPWC. They told me the thermal issue is a common issue with the plug-in ones and I could either get a Gen3 hardwired or the Corded Mobile Connector as a replacement. I’m leaning towards the Gen3 for 48A vs 40A...

Blog Tesla Considering Cybertruck Factory in Central U.S.

This is the perfect reason for a factory to be built. If it can be proven that a like Texas can open up to EVs enough for them to Be built on Oil-laden ground then that would be a huge win for the progression to sustainability. I think there are a couple other reasons Texas is being looked...

Got blue ink on white seat

So I tried alcohol wipes, WD40, magic eraser and none of those hardly made a difference. Looked online for other tips for ink stains and found one talking about spray-on sun screen for blue ink on a white couch. I will start by saying to make sure you rub VERY gently if you have to go this...

Played on the highway: 30mi under 200 Wh/mi

Oh don’t think this is anywhere near what historically the car has done the last 10 months we’ve had it. The car says we are averaging ~340Wh/mi lifetime, but when I actually calculate the mileage we are averaging closer to 440Wh/mi and average about 120 miles using 90%-10% of the 75kW battery.
