I'm in the San Fernando Valley (Studio City) if anyone wants to hear my system.

    Installing spoiler

Just take it to a service center - they'll align it properly and update your system to "Spoiler = TRUE" so it shows up on icons of your car on your screens and the apps.

My Reus sound system install: Photos and comments

Hi all. I live and work near Studio City. I had Cliff come up and install the 2S system for my Model S, and I love it! I knew right away that it sounded dynamic and full with a broad soundstage, but like all things, I became used to it after a couple of months. I took my Model S to Tesla...

    Firmware 5.8.6/7/8/9/10

I charged at Hawthorne today and saw a really beat up silver Model S in the bay next to mine. The driver was a young guy who drive down from SF with a few friends. He was in a Model S Beta, with VIN 00056. The oldest VIN that wasn't crash tested is 00054, that's still around, but apparently...

    Metal or rubber pedals

I picked up a pair of aluminum pedals from my service center today. They had them in stock for $250 for the pair, and I installed them myself within a few minutes. The part numbers are: ACCELERATOR PEDAL PAD - 1005916-00-A BRAKE PEDAL PAD - 6008130-01-A I need to get the part number for the...

    VisibleTesla

I cannot connect to the Tesla servers in your software while using a proxy - can you have a place to input proxy info in the Options, perhaps?

Is there a way to get HomeLink to work for condo gates ?

If you can get into the gate control board by the motor, you can install your own simple receiver in parallel with the existing one, so you can open the gate along with the existing complex coding ones. This one will work.

Ground light on bottom of door

I just installed these on my doors too! Very easily reversable (and cheap!) if i end up not liking them. Thanks, OP! https://vimeo.com/70091852 https://vimeo.com/70091852

    Debadging

Me too. The font used for the "Model S" on the back did not look right. It doesn't match anything else on the car.

    Debadging

I did mine yesterday. Heat gun on low setting, some dental floss, and that's it. My detailer got the last bits off today when he came by. Here are before and after pics. I also blacked out that bottom chrome piece...

"Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?"

Yeah it's a little halon extinguisher, painted black.

"Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?"

Oh, I work at Universal (there are three of four of us here with Teslas) and we have some odd BTTF items around - not screen used or anything, but from some promotional stuff or toys that we've partners with in the past that I've come to acquire. My license plate is this:

"Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?"

"No, no, no, no, no, this sucker's electrical, but I need a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity I need." If you know those lines, you probably know what's in my frunk...

Bug Report: Video Overlay Disappearing With Popovers

This is actually most noticed when you have the camera in the lower screen and try to adjust the A/C temperatures. The pop-up box with the Sync Temp option won't appear over the camera in the bottom screen. Move the camera to the top, and adjust the temps, you'll see the pop-ups.
