  • Hi jfischer,

I am going to connect a new PEM fan and create a new set of wire connecting directly from the PEM fan socket (4 pin) directly to the fan, without the connectors in between. Could you share you experience about connecting the wires.

How the 4pins connect to the 2 wire (one positive, one negative)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

good morning... Sorry I just saw this. did you figure this out?The 4 pins from the connector on the pem are wired in parallel to the fan with dual connectors on the fan side to accommodate the 1.5 dual fan motor setup.

. for the new fan you will have a dual connector setup wired in parallel to the new SINGLE FAN MOTOR in the replacement fan. You will need to remove these connectors on the fan side as EACH connector and upgrade the cable to 12g going to the PEM connector.
Any chance you could ask if Houston North SC has a spare HV battery for 2.0 Roadster, since you mentioned it might be a possibility? If I could call them I would. Thanks!! Bill 2010 vin 764

none of the dealers stock the ESS Battery. They all come from Fremont. You'll need to request the part from your SC.
