    2017 model X HW3 and MCU2 upgrade

I did that upgrade (HW3/MCU2) on my 2017 X75D last June in Canada. It felt good to get back at the popular kids table...the ones who still get significant OTA updates! So yes it's totally worth it. There was some confusion on the price. I paid 3250$CAN wich is consistent with the usual 30%...

HW2.0 to 3.0 upgrade - are Tesla in big legal & financial trouble?

The recording teslacam/sentry mode is a HW25+ feature. My september 2017 HW25/MCU1 records just fine in both modes.

    New 85kWH battery for my 2013 P85+

As a Canadian X75D owner I can confirm that I've hit 128kw on occasions and that my pack part number is the real 75kwh/350v pack. It is also worth nothing that the new 85kwh pack is listed as "ASY-HV BATTERY,85KWH,SX" wich included S and X models. Since there no 85kwh Model X it could be that...

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

I'm one of those... patiently waiting...

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

But the VIN# in TeslaFI gives us enough information without the specific MCU/AP versions. MCU1 (and consequently AP2.0) seem to have been forgotten for xmas. We've been too naughty...

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

If you look at the serial numbers in TeslaFi, I think you will see that they are almost all above the MCU1/MCU2 cutoff serials for S & X. mid/Late 080000 for X. The smallest serial I have seen for an X is 088xxx I think.

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

MCU1/AP25 (FSD computer pending) and I don't have any updates yet. I think it is mostly MCU1 and unrelated to AP. It's hard to reconcile Elon on twitter saying that an MCU2 upgrade is not worth it with the ever decreasing features that will make it to MCU1 and situations like the current one...

Tesla stopped supplying 12V power to the aux pin of the 7 way - Fixed!!!

So...I confirm that my September 2017 X75D had the same problem described in the first post. I followed the procedure and placed the red wire in its place and everything is fine now. Just want to add a small detail... September 2017 is around the time where the tow package became standard...

Tesla stopped supplying 12V power to the aux pin of the 7 way - Fixed!!!

I seem to have the same problem with my September 2017 X75D

How much is too much for charging extremes?

I asked if it was a chemical corrosion or an over current corrosion et he told me it was an infiltration of some sort. This particular section of the wiring harness can be reached by the elements. The repair was approved by the engineers in California, if they didn't approve it, they would...

How much is too much for charging extremes?

The problem occurred when I wanted to DC fast charge in Godbout, Québec (no cell reception there!) 550km from the nearest SC in the City of Québec. I live in Sherbrooke but they only wanted to tow it the Québec SC. They called me today and the problem was a corroded pin between the charging...

How much is too much for charging extremes?

The heater was not working, that was the reason it was in the SC that particular time!

How much is too much for charging extremes?

I try to take good care of my X75D battery. Because of some of my trips, when I charge to 100%, I drive it in the following 30 minutes and when I go bellow 5%-10% I charge it immediately after. I never let it sit at either extremes. About 2 monts ago, my X was at the SC to replace the heating...
