FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Of course it's not the most difficult procedure around, and the service techs won't have much trouble. But yes it's unnecessarily difficult for something that should be a routine restore-to-100%, service check. BTW similar comments apply to the changing of the double cabin air filters, access...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Exactly the point, it should be a standardized, computer driven evaluation and yet again is a perfect candidate for an ML training project. It turns a very complex evaluation into a score and a standardized service directive. (This would supplement and not replace the real time evaluation of the...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Yes I think so, as I said above.

Possible pop-up notifications: Bridge to Nowhere Road to Hell Where are you going with this? Make up yo' damn mind You're on the wrong track buddy This is leading us nowhere You seem completely directionless To Infinity and Beyond! And the best one I think...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

That's great, I'm very glad you got it resolved. As I said in my earlier posts, I think there are quite a few cars in the fleet with this problem, to a greater or lesser degree. But I also said that Tesla must be well aware of it, so I wasn't too happy to read the next part: IMO Tesla needs to...

    FSD now $99 a month

I'm not aware of that; I've never read an anecdote about early Tesla customers not being able to get insurance (though I could imagine the very first roadster owners may have some stories to tell, along with the very first Rivian / Lucid / Vinfast owners and so on). I'd be interested if you...

    FSD now $99 a month

This is a maximalist or argumentum ad absurdum claim. If that were true, no AV could ever succeed. In fact, no corporate liability could ever be indemnified, in a wide variety of Industries on the argument that the Deep Pockets doctribe will always lead to unavoidable existential threats. While...

    FSD now $99 a month

This is often stated on TMC, "Tesla will never accept liability". What does everyone think Tesla was doing when it started the insurance side of the business? Just an Elon inspiration to scoop up gobs of low-hanging dollars? I don't think so. It seems pretty obvious to me that the whole point...

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

I'll just mildly point out that the title of the thread, and the wording of the first post, is asking who will pay $8,000 for FSD. But the poll choices don't have an option for $8K, so no data will come back about the stated question. The discussion is fine and it's happening in several threads...

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

Until the cheaper car and the factories are really ready for volume production, it would be a poor business strategy to announce it. If the Robotaxi version is unveiled as a significantly pricier version, or as a commercial fleet vehicle only*, Tesla avoids most of the Osborne effect. * I'll...

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

That's me, just squeaked into the old-school group Nov. '21 (Model Y). I'm an Intel agent! Until now, most of the Ryzen advantages related to gaming and maybe streaming, not big priorities for me. But "immersive visualizations" could be interesting.

And if there's nothing really to talk about, you can still put some clickbait thumbnail with huge letters "THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING" But still, there's nothing stopping you or me from doing the same and making money - except of course our serious scholarship and impeccable ethical standards...right?

Something fell into the rear floor vent: can't get it out!

The former (well, in the UK - over here they may also be needed for passenger cooling ;) ). The battery temperature is maintained via the liquid/vapor circuits of the heat pump network.

    FSD experience

Yes, those settings are in the Autopilot menu. With the latest FSD , you have the choice of letting the car determine the maximum speed automatically, or setting a Max according to your preferences as @EVRider-FL explained. But you also need to be aware of the right scroll wheel, that is used...
