    Model Y Longest Cargo?

    Thanks!!!!

    Model Y Longest Cargo?

This isn't quite what I'm looking for. I'm more curious what the measurement would be from where the base of the windshield meets the dashboard, to the opposite rear corner of the hatch. There have been a few times where I've needed to lay a towel down on the dash, wrap the front end of the...

    Model Y Longest Cargo?

Out of curiosity, has anyone measured what the longest possible cargo length would be in a Model Y? I have a Model S and have been toying with replacing it with a Model Y. The Model S can fit a 10' board, pipe, etc. inside with all the doors and windows closed. It would be nice if this was also...

Profiles Lost & "Needs service, car may not restart next time"

Argh, that's what I was worried about. I wonder how much arguing it will take to get a proactive replacement of the MCU, or if they have to wait for specific error messages/failures... I'd like to keep the car for another two years before upgrading, and don't really want to pump any extra $$...

Profiles Lost & "Needs service, car may not restart next time"

I just did a factory reset and the streaming radio stations remained, so I suspect they are just tied to the Slacker Radio account used by the car. Should I just write this off as a hiccup in the update process that corrupted some memory, or should I be worried that my MCU is on its way out?

Profiles Lost & "Needs service, car may not restart next time"

My 2017 Model S (HW2.0 MCU1) just updated to 2020.48.12.1, and something alarming happened afterward. I got in the car and had a "Needs service, car may not restart next time" message, plus all of my driver profiles disappeared. "Allow Mobile Access" was also turned off and I had to re-enable it...

    Supercharger - Folsom, CA - Palladio Parkway (LIVE 11 Aug 2016, 10 V2 + 20 V3 stalls)

Charging here now and was super stoked to see the new V3 hardware. Sounds like the pedestals and wiring troughs are all fan cooled. Saw my fastest charge rate ever, on my old 2017 S75D. 132kW but it tapered off quickly. :( Edit: Appears my phone posted the photos sideways. Will fix when I get home.

gateway 2 rolling out in US yet?

Damn really? Is there an official installation guide posted anywhere for the Gateway 2? I was supposed to have my Powerwalls installed today and they did show up with a Gateway 2, but cancelled the installation due to some existing damage in my main panel. We talked over possibly using the...

Passenger (Right) Side Roadster Headlight - Excellent Condition - No Peeling

Bumping again since this thing is just taking up space in my garage and is super hard to find if you need one. Not looking to make money on this, just hoping it can help someone avoid a parts headache.

    Powerwall Automated Load Shedding?

Has anyone seen or invented any good ways to shed large electrical loads during a grid failure? Our Powerwall design is going to end up backing up the whole house, since it'd be a huge job to separate our pool and spa equipment onto a separate sub panel. It would be nice to just have some...

    Wall Connector Power Sharing Behavior?

I'm a little confused by your response. The car should always pull the maximum current available, unless you're charging up to like 99% or something, then it starts to taper off.

    Wall Connector Power Sharing Behavior?

Question for those of you who have multiple Wall Connectors wired in a power sharing configuration. Even if one of your cars is completely asleep, does your other, actively charging car indicate the charing current is bouncing around? When I just had a single Wall Connector, I'd plug in the...

    Sub Panels with Large Loads

Yes this is the common knowledge that I've always operated on, and why we have residential load calculation formulas to size panels and conductors. This is why I was surprised by the simple comment of just looking at breaker size. I'm fine with having to run downstairs and turn off the breaker...

    Sub Panels with Large Loads

I assume the 60A breaker threshold is only for branch breakers? Ie. the 100A feeder breakers for sub panels wouldn't fall into this category?
