    Software Update 2018.46.x

I'm on 42.2 and seat / steering wheel heaters turn on when turning on climate control from app - although it seems as though the car temp needs to be below 60 degrees.

    Software update 2018.6.1

I've also had the "purple screen" on my backup camera a couple of times since going to 18.6.1. It's always been on the first drive of the morning too. It was always cold mornings (30s) for me and I thought it was temperature related - but apparently not so based on your findings.

Tesla - where are my (HW2) auto rain sensing wipers?

has anyone else noticed that @whitex has gone silent in this conversation?

Does steering while on Autosteer do anything?

I guess I'm experiencing what @chillaban and @kavyboy mentioned. There seems to be a confidence factor. If I'm on a wide road, AP2 gives me a little wiggle room within the lane to nudge the car one way or another but won't move an inch on narrow roads, or when approaching the lines on a wide...

Some exciting observations about the new Model S60 (software limited 75 kWh)

Yes, something doesn't sound right with the calculations. I have my MS60D since early December 2016. I had 221 range @100% when new 4 months and 4,000 miles now Charge nightly on HPWC to 90% (only used supercharger twice) My lifetime efficiency is 335 wh/mi Charged last night to 100% and still...

Does steering while on Autosteer do anything?

Sorry if this has been previously discussed but I can't find anything. While driving with Autosteer engaged (HW2/AP2) I find myself 'nudging' the steering wheel in an attempt to keep the car centered in the lane when it drifts. At times I feel like it actually helps and I times I think that it...

    Firmware 8.0

My post wasn't directed at anyone in specific. I just wanted to point out the usefulness of the 'Ignore' function. I've found it helps keep my blood pressure lower. I definitely wasn't referring to @Tangible - he's obviously not on my list since I read his post. :D

    Firmware 8.0

@HumanGenome the "Ignore" function works well too. I've added many of the regular whiners and complainers to my list. ;)

    Firmware 8.0

EM has said high speed autosteer is a priority over 8.1 release. If 8.1 is due out next week then that means possible AP2 update this weekend?? One could hope anyway. . .

    Firmware 8.0

17.5.36 being released after 17.6.15? Does that happen often (I've only had my car for two months)?

    Firmware 8.0

17.5.28 for AP2 From release notes: - New side collision warning, works between 7 and 85 mph - Autosteer increased to 50 mph Thread here: 17.5.28

How else to interpret 2016 CA autonomous driving results?

It appears Google has good test lab results, maybe you should go buy one. Oh, wait . . .:D

How else to interpret 2016 CA autonomous driving results?

I have to disagree on this one. I don't think OP is stating that Tesla is operating on secret difficult roads - I think it's been documented that Google has been operating in a fairly controlled environment. The suburban roads of Mountain View that Google has mainly operated on are much...

How else to interpret 2016 CA autonomous driving results?

I saw a good writeup here: The Numbers Don’t Lie: Self-Driving Cars Are Getting Good, Fast I'm not defending Tesla (I love the "it seems the messiah has left the building" comment) - but the article does point out that the results aren't an "apples to apples" comparison and lists some reasons...

Autopilot for HW2 rolling out to all HW2 cars today!

Thanks @TslaDoc, I think that explains the "Drivers assistance features unavailable" messages that many are receiving when starting their trip. I haven't seen many folks claiming that it cut out mid-drive like you have experienced however. Hopefully the firmware update will fix it for you...
