    Someone in the know would have to run the numbers, but it's not all that obvious that burning hydrocarbons for heat locally is worse than converting them to electricity remotely, charging the battery and then heating an electric coil with that electricity. The first scenario is nearly 100%...

    An ethanol heater that is properly integrated into the system, by which I mean it injects heated air right into the vents and it exhausts to the outside would be a perfectly sensible solution. All the kWh's that go toward resistive heating are mostly not CO2-free and they are better utilized...

    MCU died out of warranty. Heres info on my experience

    That $1300.00 MCU has the word "REMAN" in the description. It most likely is a re-manufactured (refurbished) unit, thus the lower than usual price. Did they say anything to that effect to you?

    Which Model 3 springs for a more comfortable ride?

    Excuse my ignorance, I never felt the need to mess with any of my cars' suspension before, but this one is different. Is it not possible to install a 1" thick spacer in addition to the new springs to keep the overall height the same?

    90% of the time I'm perfectly content with the ride quality. The problem is rough/repaired/patched roads and city streets. The bumps are felt just a bit too much for my laid back every day driving. I remember Elon suggesting that people drop the tire pressure a bit and that might be a OK...

    Clicking noise when accelerating

    I had the same ticking noise in my LR RWD, but I perceived it as coming from the front and only when turning from a stand still. Anyway, I took it to the Service Center and they tightened both front rotor retention bolts to spec. They were found to be below spec which apparently caused the clicking.
