The problem has been scaled up to Tesla Spain by TOC-ES, so they are aware of it. They have been informed of all the details we found out: that it affects Movistar SIMs but not KPN's; and also that in UK it seems to affect cars with SIMs from Telefónica-owned O2.

The MCU2 uses eSIM (so, all M3 do). Tesla can remotely reprogram the eSIMs and switch carriers. In fact, they do (switched my M3 and many others in Spain from KPN to Movistar more than a year ago).

I forgot to mention something: almost all M3 here in Spain connect to the Movistar cellular network. In fact, the eSIMs were updated for switching mobile operator from KPN to Movistar about one year ago.

Of course I intended to write that "I have no third party apps, TeslaFi, etc. accessing my car." I'm new here and I didn't find any way to edit posts. :)
