    Stealing a Model S/X battery

This is similar to what happens with all very popular mass market cars. Think Civic back in the '80-90s. The Prius is the most popular battery containing car ever made, with many very old car out in the market. Toyota probably didn't put any thought on battery security (similar to Civics back...

    Aware of tire noise dampening?

That sounds like the old school DIY way of plugging a tire puncture. All auto stores and Walmart used to sell these types of tire plugs many years ago (20+). But just be aware these patches are not performance tire rated. They'll work fine for pickups and junker cars that maybe max out at 80...

"Obstacle detected" - blocking acceleration - very dangerous!

Sort of a great news. I do hope the extemely dangerous original behavior of overriding throttle response due to miscalculation of imminent collision is fixed of course. That behavior does sound like a bug with AP2, due to the fact if the vehicle was already rolling OR one uses less than full...

supercharger parking stall who owns them? How to deal with gas cars using them?

I believe it is better to simply have more stalls without onerous ICE restrictions (maybe even more relaxed rules), versus what we have now with tighter regulation. The landlord is almost always a retailer, or leases to retail shops, so they have no vested interest to have "EV" only spots, let...

100D not available to update order that has free supercharger option per Tesla rep

This makes the most sense. Consider the 60 to 75 upgrade is $6500 USD (or $433/kWh), the 75D to 90D is $10000 ($666/kWh), the 90D to 100D at $3000 ($300/kWh) downright "cheap". While it would have been nicer to have other "incentives" for the lower tier product lines, at least Elon/Tesla is...

    P100D vs 100D - $37K?

Don't let the "unlimited free supercharging" fool you. For $37k ($36.5k after change fee), you can practically pay for all the SC use for a lifetime. The main question for you is how much the "P" is worth. I believe the P has dual motors in the back (or is that the ludicrous only), so it...

"Obstacle detected" - blocking acceleration - very dangerous!

Have you been able to try this merge zone without any traffic? It would be great to help isolate what may be triggering the throttle to cut off.

    Supercharging prices at last

Since all of the Edmund fuel economy data are from EPA highway, then the fair comparison against Tesla S would be to also use EPA rated. I recall EPA highway result done just this year showed a 90D getting over 300 miles, so in this case using exact same condition as Edmund cars, Tesla would get...
