We don’t know what the requirements are yet. Tesla could say transfers are only available for FSD car’s owners as of the date Elon made the announcement. So you could not buy a used, salvaged etc FSD car after that and transfer FSD to a new Tesla.

I agree! Will be moving my 5k 2017 FSD to a new Tesla in Q3 especially if cyber truck order system opens up.

I sold my Sig 791 autographed by Elon on the passenger visor because professional collectors said the car would not be "collectable in my lifetime" (next 15-20 years). Now I wish I had kept it but the maintenance, insurance and storage does add up! (I kept the autographed visor though!!!!)

TSLA has been very good to me. I think 400 is possible this year but my cost basis so low I’ve been playing with house money since the stock paid for my 2012 Sig! Like many early investors the volatility has been mind numbing. Don’t bet the farm and diamond hands will prevail.
