the way range is calculated in the i3 is totally different than how tesla does it. The i3 does an estimate based on your driving habits
so if you drive like a bat out of hell its not uncommon to see your range drop by 10-15 miles all of a sudden.
Is this an upgrade over the factory model S lighting? I noticed it's 35w which I think is the same as what the car comes with. I'd really like to get something better than factory OEM lighting
I have a 2013 tesla that has a flickering problem with the left HID. Sometimes it goes out completely and I can get it to come back on if I cycle the power to the lights. Does this mean my bulb is bad or my ballast is toast? Would love to use this as an opportunity to upgrade the lighting. I...
This thread kind of broke my heart
I have been going through a nightmare of perpetually straightening my stock 19" wheels
Unlike the rest of you, I haven't even ever hit any pot hole
I live in sunny Florida
I was hoping I could end this soft wheel nightmare by switching to aftermarket wheels...
Wanted to add a little more to make a point
Yes my screens did leak and make a mess of goo last year. Both failed- the big one in the center and the instrument cluster in front of the driver and I spent almost 2000 bucks fixing both.
But I also have saved over 20,000 in gas and avoided at...
I have a 2013 model s 60 with 117,000 miles. About 11.3% loss on my battery pack
Overall I am very happy with the car. Runs great and even with the range losses it’s still goes far enough for my needs. I think it will easily go another 100,000 miles and then I’ll look into whatever battery...
I just tried the newest version of the ps3 that was developed for Tesla. It’s a similar tread pattern but with foam inside. Similar performance, plus much less road noise. If you live in an area where it doesn’t snow or have a set of snow tires for winter I highly recommend these.
I think there is a lot of bad advice on this thread
A lot of people asking for advice live in Florida and California where they will never see snow. Why on earth would anyone want an all-season tire if they live in florida or cali? All-season is a compromised design for snow.
If you don't...
You can buy the drive units all day long on ebay for not too much coin. I wonder if a deal could be cut where you supply the drive unit and Tesla pays the labor?
