Just charge your vehicle when you need to charge it. Don't over think it, I had my model 3P for 3 years (traded for lightning) and still have the Model Y. @johnr Are you not using the 360 degree top down view in conjunction with the rear camera? That top down view is the best thing I have ever seen when it comes to vehicle cameras. I use it all the time.

I took the small Chamberlin garage remote and double side velcro sticked it to the bottom of the Tesla Screen. It's hidden and works great for a quick no look press to open and close the door.

If range is not an issue, then you will be completely happy with the M3P. Just remember to look all around before you punch it at a light and leave all the ICE performance cars in the dust lol.

I have been turning mines on manually for the last couple of weeks for this reason. Are the light controls not influenced by what the camera sees?

You should reserve now, the price just went up again. I believe you have until the car is ready, I would look at locking things in 30-60 days before your delivery date.
