  • Range is definitely lower than 3. Very little degradation from the original rage, although much lower than 3 obviously. But, I charge every day at home with only local driving. So it is a non issue. Driving/handling is identical to my 2019 model x. Silky smooth compared to model 3. Mine came with smart air suspension though. Make sure to see the pictures before you buy used Tesla. I used the Teslacpo.io website.
    Hi there,

I did exactly what you are trying to do in early December. Sold my 2018 long range RWD model 3 privately. Purchased a fully loaded 2017 model S 75 with FSD for 48k from Tesla. My car has been amazing so far. No comparison to the model 3. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Good luck!
Thanks, I will. Enjoy the car!

Be interested to hear if the range/charging differences are noticeable and how the handling compares.
