    PowerWall with Enphase microinverters

To each their own, however, you think you save $2,400 a year in electricity costs for TV's, dishwasher, fridge, and clothes washer? Not trying to start an argument but that is absolutely impossible. You couldn't save that much money yearly if the items you replaced were 15 years old, so...

    PowerWall with Enphase microinverters

Changing lights to LED, definitely, however, if you changed out multiple tv's, a laptop, refrigerator, washer, and dishwasher just to make them more energy efficient, you are NEVER recouping that cost, EVER, not even 1/4 of it. Estimating that entire cost to be $5,500 conservatively (very...

    5K/week pushed back to Q2

Yes, $0.20 is more per kWh then a TOU rate of $0.11, however, if your spouse works from home and you don't adjust your energy usage, it's not much of a savings. Also, it may not be advertised on the Tesla website yet, however, I have it on pretty good authority that the 400 kWh is included for...

    5K/week pushed back to Q2

Pretty sure the SuperCharger rates they will charge M3 owners will be the same exact rates they would pay at home, so it does not exactly drive them away. Also, it is likely there will still be the 400 kWh free per year.

Looking for a Tesla, but why have these not sold yet?

Even with a wait, why would someone buy a used, high mileage, out of warranty Model S for nearly the same price they would pay for a brand new Model 3 after all the credits? For free Supercharging??!!! Not likely!

Oh boy, there is going to be some learning curve for model 3 owners

Front end of 3 > refreshed S and WAAAAAAAAAAAY nicer than original front of S!!!!! I like the back half of the S better though.

Oh boy, there is going to be some learning curve for model 3 owners

These same types of inconsiderate exchanges happened before there were Model 3's, with current S and X owners. This is not new because there is now a lower cost car to purchase. This individual was just a jerk, like the S and X owners before him who have done similar things, and frankly, like...

    Payment Timing

If before you make that deposit, you read and sign, or electronically sign that you understand your deposit is indeed non-refundable, uhh, ya, it is.

Tesla sends out delivery delay emails

So your window originally started in November and you have not yet been invited to configure? Mine was Feb-Apr and I was hoping to be invited to configure by the end of November. I'll keep waiting.

Tesla sends out delivery delay emails

1 month delay on mine as well. Will it happen again, maybe. As of right now, no big deal. Can't wait for 2018 to get here!!

Tesla sends out delivery delay emails

Guess I am going to stand corrected on this, original unveil says end of 2017. I am pretty sure that was moved up significantly from original planned date, however, I can not find any proof at the moment. I'm not a leaser though, still rocking my 04' Mitsubishi Galant. Won't enjoy waiting...

Tesla sends out delivery delay emails

Pretty sure when the first unveil of the M3 came out, Tesla's timeline was 2 years beyond what it is now, just FYI.

Is uncorking 75D unfair to 90/100D owners?

The Model 3 LR is software limited just to differentiate, they had to uncork the S75's so they can make the 3's faster as well.

M3OC's In-Depth Look Video (1:10hr long, very thorough)

I ask because I am putting in a NEMA 14-50. You say it is for safety reasons, so are they limiting all future S/X UMC's to the same 32 amp? If not, I do not see why they have done it to the 3's UMC.

M3OC's In-Depth Look Video (1:10hr long, very thorough)

Anyone know why or have thoughts as to why Tesla would make the UMC for the 3 only capable of 32 amps if the LR battery option comes with a 48 amp onboard charger? Makes no sense to make all cars charge slower unless they are at a SC.
