Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

Two weeks ago on a trip to/from Los Angles, I discovered two superchargers - one in Patterson off I-5, and the second in Simi Valley! Glad they built the ones in Simi. These seem much faster charging than the first ones I used!

Poll - how many charge at home?

I have charged at home since I bought my first Volt! (I'm on my second now, and a Model 3). I also charge with 120 V! Yes, it takes a while when the batteries are low, but in the last 18 months I don't drive a lot. When I'm out of town, I use superchargers (I sort of collect them.) If I'm...

Vendor A Supercharger Station-Vacation, Is That A Thing?

Driving I-5 in California is not the most exciting road trip ever. But I found a supercharger in Williams next to Granzella's. Granzella's is a locally famous restaurant/deli/sandwich shop just off I-5. Food is worth the drive, and the chargers are in their parking lot.

Did anyone come from bigger size sedan to Tesla Model 3?

I came from an Astro Van (my second one). My family grew up, I no longer needed a van. Yes, it was roomy, and with a 20 gallon gas tank, it had RANGE. Now there are generally two of us riding in our M3, lack of space in the back is not a problem, and with those seats down, the trunk is...

    MotorTrend car of the year

My only quibble about this article is the dismissive "luxury" moniker. The Model 3 costs about what a well equipped pick up truck costs these days, and well within the range of convention non-luxury ICE cars. My M3 is now two years old. I've no negative comments about fit or finish or...

Vendor A Supercharger Station-Vacation, Is That A Thing?

Discovered a new supercharger location in Sacemwnro. Ir'a in Raley's (Grocery) center on Freeport Blvd, and was the site of Capital Nursery. About half a dozen stations. About four cars charging when I passed through. I was on my way back home from using the charger in Elk Grove off of CA...

Vendor A Supercharger Station-Vacation, Is That A Thing?

Watch your spelling! The capital of Portugal is "Lisbon", not "Libson." My fav suprcharger is at the Burger King in Quartzite, AZ. Fast charging, and oversized burgers!

    A Couple of Suggestions:

Three things would make my Model 3 perfect: 1. larger fonts on display screen; 2. wiper for rear window; 3. heated steering wheel.

Where do you want a new Supercharger?

Ventura County, CA. Oxnard, Ventura, Simi Valley. Only one I know of is in Thousand Oaks. I use destination charger in Simi Valley, it's free if you stay at their hotel.

2021 heated steering wheel Discussion thread

I'm old(er) whose hands get cold easily. A warm steering wheel (like my Volt) IS a luxury for some, but not for me. I was disappointed that my 2019 M3 didn't include it.

IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

The car is too low already, and scrapes curbs and parking lot bumpers. The car needs the front end to rise 50 -60 mm at speeds under 5 mph to clear obstructions, Wouldn't hurt to stay at that height for easier exit.

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

What happened to the SC in Simi Valley? We used to have to stay in a hotel with a destination charger to make it back to Santa Clarita for a quick charge, or if going to Palm Springs, Burbank or Glendale. Now I know of a SC at the Palm Springs Museum of Art, but then I just plug in at home!
