    Supercharger - Lubbock (SC), TX

One benefit of the years long delay is that when it finally arrives it should be a V3 Supercharger! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I have yet to stop at a V3 Supercharger in Texas.

    Supercharger - Lubbock (SC), TX

Congrats on the Tesla. I know you will enjoy it. If Tesla is serious about putting some type of service center in Lubbock (and it appears they are), then hopefully a Supercharger will follow. The Supercharger has been "planned" in Lubbock for over 5 years now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Your Tesla...

    Supercharger - Lubbock (SC), TX

I'm not sure what's going on up there. The fastest charging now (non-Tesla) is one station at the Harley Davidson dealer (charged up our BMW i3 pretty quick, not supercharger quick, but quick). For Tesla's the fastest option is La Quinta on the NW part of the Loop. They need a Tesla...

    Supercharger - Lubbock (SC), TX

I was at the Ft. Worth service center last Monday and mentioned Lubbock and the service advisor responded they were in Lubbock recently scouting locations. He said he didn't know what type of facility they were looking at for Lubbock, but they are looking. Now, anyone that has been...

    Supercharger - Lubbock (SC), TX

That is very promising indeed. A service center in Lubbock would cover Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa. That is a significant population base and cover the gap in Supercharging. It is frustrating having to go to San Antonio or Ft. Worth for service.

MY with new console spotted today

I picked up my Model Y LR this past Saturday. 2/14 build date. Has all the updates except for the head lights. I have not seen a LR with the updated headlights yet. Just the Model Y Performance.

Picking up Model Y LR tomorrow 2/27 in San Antonio, TX

Only took a couple at the delivery center thus far, then drove home in the rain.

Test drove the Model Y, Model 3 and the Mach E back to back to back, yesterday

That's my plan when it comes time to replace the tires that came on my Model Y.

What have you done with your Tesla today?

I was able to make passes safely, and very quickly, with the power of the Model Y. I'm very happy with the performance. I'm just shocked at how much faster I was able to charge and get back on the road compared to my Model X. Now I know the refreshed Model S/X are supposed to charge...

    Softer Ride Options

For sure, completely subjective. And I do only have a short drive in it thus far, maybe its because I was expecting something so very harsh that I was pleasantly surprised. I do care about ride quality. With my 2020 Model X Performance I went with the smaller wheels and just powder coated...

    Softer Ride Options

This is oil country and the roads here take a beating, but potholes are the biggest obstacle. I only have 361 miles on the Y thus far (From San Antonio to Andrews), part of the ride home took me through 5 miles of unpaved rough road between Ozona and Big Lake and the Y did fine.

    Softer Ride Options

Reading all the complaints about the Model Y ride harshness had me a little concerned before I bought one. I picked up a 2021 Model Y LR today with 19" wheels and the ride is fine. Can't speak to the Performance version ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, and I was a little concerned after reading all the complaints about the ride quality (many finding even the LR too harsh). It rides fine to me, not harsh at all. I purchased the acceleration boost before I left the Service Center. Has plenty of speed and torque for me to enjoy.

Ok, made it home. It has the old style headlights. I wouldn't be surprised if Tesla kept the new adaptive headlights on the Performance models. I actually think they should to help justify the price difference. Has the heated steering wheel and new style console and double pane...
