Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

so pointing out that Musk has violated the terms of his security clearance is shitposting? interesting how far most of you are willing to bend themselves to keep your idol

great reply. of course i mean illegal drugs, thanks for the aspirin comparison really helpful. And yes, weed is an illegal drug as only federal laws count in that case. I know that this is a spaceX issue, but you guys trying to justify him clearly breakng the law is pretty pathetic

doesnt matter where he did it. people with clearance are not allowed to use drugs - end of story. good thing they finally look into it

    Shorting Oil, Hedging Tesla

Neither have I. Nonetheless I believe that an Investment in an Oil company right now will pay off big time, no matter if they return a lot of capital or through rising share prices. Just my opinion, no advice and Im not trying to convince anyone :)

    Shorting Oil, Hedging Tesla

true. you also have the option to sell some stock and let the rest run. Some of those oil names (especially the little ones, not necessarily Exxon) are really really cheap right now. But only time will tell what happens with oil, i for my part believe that a lack of investments and supply...

    Shorting Oil, Hedging Tesla

I dont argue with your point that Plug Ins will eat into gasoline demand. I just misunderstood your initial statement as "50% pure EV in 2023". I believe Plug-Ins (even if they have only 50-100 miles of range) are the best solution right now. As you said, for most people it is enough, and even...

    Shorting Oil, Hedging Tesla

Okay, i understood your post as 50% EV market share. If you include Plug ins, the goal becomes a lot more realistic, but i still believe it will be a success if it reaches half of that. But thats something only time will tell. For the general situation in regards to Oil: I also think that the...

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

did i, in any way, compare the i3 and the model X? I dont think so. I simply stated that BMW will not discontinue the i3 because it is selling decently enough and is good for BMWs image. Work on your reading comprehension or dont answer my posts

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Maybe they thought about that, but i dont believe they will do that. The i8 maybe, its a great car to look at but certainly has disappointed in regards to sale. The i3 is selling better and better in Europe and i am certain they will keep it untill 2020, if only for eco-friendly image and...

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Yes, i think 100k electrified vehicles is a pretty good achievement. This year, for example, BMW has sold more i3 in Norway than Model S or X. Im not arguing that they are behind Tesla in regards to total EVs sold, but the whole sentiment here ist that they are "at least 5 years" behind, and...

    General Discussion: 2018 Investor Roundtable

First, the Article says "Milliarden", which usually means a couple - several billions. So im not making anything up. Second, Tesla will not be building 300k cars this year. Imo, they wont even be close. Third, of course it is a plan that will take time. Unlike Tesla, BMW is know for keeping...

    Shorting Oil, Hedging Tesla

You think EVs will have a 50% market share in 2023 + 2-4 years? that is 7-9 years from now!!!! there is absolutely no way on earth that this will happen. Zero percent. If you happen to be a betting man (if this is not allowed on this site im sorry) i would like to do a little side bet with you...
