    Home WIFI not in range

I use this with my Y and my wife's m3. Bought one for each car. Use it to extend your wifi network or connect to xfinity wifi/public wifi when you're out somewhere or not in range. One of our parking spots can't reach our own wifi but can reach a nearby xfinity hotspot no problem...

Model Y Roadtrip Experience pt. 3 - Winter Drive to Aspen, CO.

It's legally allowed to 70% for the front driver and passenger windows. Mine's at 35%. Some are at 20% or less. YMMV to being pulled over around here for tint. In my experience, more so no front license plate vs. tint.

    No camping in your car.

yes, the tailgate part remains pretty bug tight and doesn't look ridiculous as long as you have the front straps strapped in properly. The tailgate is elastic so it hugs the sides when you close the trunk. You can sleep inside the car with the tailgate closed.

    No camping in your car.

In terms of music festivals, 30' x 10' is pretty standard for camp sites. At least the ones we've been to. The car with our tent is about 22' combined in length and 10' in width. The tent is 10' x 10' by itself. We still had plenty of space to use for a beer pong table, solar panels, or sitting...

    No camping in your car.

I use magnets to close the gaps and make it air tight against the bugs. Yes, we closed the trunk when we're sleeping in the car. You can even use the tent separately, the tailgate portion can zip up. It's pretty easy. Takes me five mins or less to do it now. I take the magnets off, take off the...

    No camping in your car.

I recommend getting a SUV Tent. My wife and I went to Coachella this year and camped in the car with two other friends in the tent. We use this setup at RV Parks and campsites. Haven't had any issues with this setup. From Coachella- Napier Tent-...

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

I think your flex won't be able to recognize the specific CAV discounts so you do have to order the CAV flex tag. Here's the link to order the CAV flex tag- https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/routers/cav_existing_user.html

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

It's hard to say or distinguish if people are driving in the HOV illegally, if you look at the CAV tag website- https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/support/clean-air-vehicle.shtml Some people, including me, actually are not breaking any rules when we drive with 3+ toggled on in some areas...

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

Everything is Fastrak now. If you don't have a fastrak tag or a tourist/visitor, they will send you a bill to pay based on the license plate. Just need to pay it online when you get the bill. I haven't seen any discrepancies in the discount charges. Here are the recent charges for me, all bay...

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

In my experience, I've only seen ICE vehicles being pulled over a few times on the HOV lane, usually solo occupants driving in the express lane by Dublin merging right after from 560 to 680. Could be other violations though. I haven't seen an EV pulled over yet during express lane hours. I'm not...

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

That’s true. My main commute is through the bay bridge from the east bay M-F which I’m not violating any rules there. IMO, I think the CHP pays more attention about an ICE car driving in the HOV without two/three people (Easier to catch and fine) than an EV with CAV stickers that’s solo riding...

Driving in HOV lane without sticker

You can't double up on the discount, it charges $3.50 when you're within the time frame going through the HOV lane on the bridge. Fastrak toll booth will only scan your license plate or your tag to charge you. Technically when you drive through the the bridge HOVs with or without the stickers...

    Auto frunk options

Not a standalone app, the stock tesla app. Third party apps (Stats) work too as long as they have the "frunk" button and ties in with your car. You can also use an apple watch and use siri to open/close the frunk.
