Yeah, mine started doing that, too. I'm just dealing with it for a while until I have a larger reason to visit the SC.

With and without drive on nav. I've never used the dashcam.

I used to have random static-y songs every 10th song or so, but since the v9 update, now I have a different problem where it skips a small section of the song, like a CD skipping. (Remember CDs?)

I have the RPM Tesla one. It doesn't "lock," but it slips under the lip enough to stay in place and it's never slid out on me. I don't think it's much/any more expensive than the rest of them.

Been waiting to updated this, but here we go. The lights and warnings came back the morning after we picked it up, so it went back to the SC on Monday morning. This time, they replaced the wheel sensor, along with the disc (or something) that it registers to. Got the same Model S as a loaner...

Picked up the car today from the SC. They said it was a problem with the wheel speed sensors not agreeing with each other, which caused the whole system to get confused. He said they cleaned the sensors and recalibrated them. Kudos for them though for squeezing me in on a day where they were...

Thanks for the replies, folks. Just dropped it off at the SC, and you're right @Jays200, we're lucky to have one so close. Anyway, at least they had a Tesla loaner for us, so we get to try out the S100D for a bit. I'll update as I find out more.

Oof, when did they tell you it was delayed? I'm taking delivery tomorrow and my DS called today and said everything was all set, and the car was sitting there at the showroom, looking great. If he calls tomorrow and says wait until July 1st, my wife will hit the ceiling. :eek:

Ok, thanks guys. Sounds like wrapping is the only option. Will an Xpel installer be able to do a gloss black wrap? I know they typically do clear PPF. What about a source for buying the film myself and trying it?

Is there any way to swap out the current seat backs for the old gloss ones? Buying just the backs? Buying the whole seat? Wrapping the seat back? I really prefer the glossy look of the old seats. (No kids, so I'm not worried about scratches.) Sorry if this has been asked before; I didn't find...
