    NOA with 2.5 hardware

Any update on this from anyone? I have a late 2017 HW 2.5 Model X. Just installed 2020.12.5 and it still won’t automatically move out of the passing lane. This previously worked on this car a few versions ago. A bit aggravating.

    Sorry, time series was reversed.

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

Wow, thanks... this could be my answer. According to my TeslaFi data (which isn’t the same as data from a tester, of course): 1) Yes, I’m showing max voltages of around 249 both before after the issue started. This probably doesn’t account for voltages as the charging is trying to start, and...

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

Hard to say, but I think I addressed this possibility by putting in a new circuit and turning off all other breakers to eliminate any potential interference from other devices.

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

Makes sense. I’ll need to try the oscilloscope. And great info... Thanks I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on an IR camera... or maybe it's a good excuse to buy one. I see that you’re making out around 147 volts. Is the fact that my car is showing me hitting 152 a concern or potentially...

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

Haven’t noticed any dryer issues. Not sure if the power company measured both lines, but I’m getting your point. The breakers I’ve tried have all been on the right bus bar, so maybe I’ll try the left in case the right line has the issue and wasn’t tested.

Thanks. Forgot to mention that I did have a loaner MX with its own mobile connector while they were troubleshooting mine. Same issue with the loaner MX / mobile connector.

Good thought. Assumed same transformer or branch (on a private road) but not sure. I’ll do a visual survey to see if I can figure it out.

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

Thanks, good suggestion. I'm just concerned that even if I do find fluctuations, the power company might be resistant to acknowledging. Hopefully they will if I can show them the data. Don't whole-home surge protectors help with fluctuations, or will I need something like a voltage regulator or...

Need Help! Charging Issues, Errors, Max 23 Amps

I’m having an issue with charging my MX at home, and hoping I can find someone who has had a similar experience and can suggest a solution. Thanks in advance for reading my novel! Overview: I have a late-2017 HW v2.5 MX 100D. When I originally purchased it, I had a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed...

    Charging problems

Hey, everyone, I'm having a similar issue, and thought I would tag on here to see if I can get some thoughts and feedback. I have a late 2017 MX 100D with a gen 1 UMC (40 amps). Since my purchase in Dec 2017, I've been charging using my UMC on a NEMA 14-50. It's dedicated run of about 15' of 6/4...
