Has anyone considered using a Magic Mount and placing it in front of the steering wheel? Then using a phone for navigation would be quite streamlined. We have not taken delivery of our Model 3, but that seems like a logical place to put the mount.
One weird thing: If you specify the Ultra-White interior and select the Premium Upgrades Package, it kills off your Ultra-White interior. Not sure if it's just a bug, but it's definitely a little weird.
When I saw it, it was a clean build, it showed P100D and it was a separate box from the P90. Strangely, it was to the left of the P90, rather than the right, so perhaps it landed in the spot that the 85 briefly occupied when the 90 came out.
Holy cow. I just built a P100D on the website when I posted this, and now it's gone. Amazing; perhaps there were other changes that they hadn't made when they went live prematurely.
Sorry, I totally misread your post. I thought you were referencing FL plates, not FL drivers license. My bad. I would be very surprised, then, if you can't get a sticker in that case.
I have bad news for you. First, it is likely that you are not going to get the sticker. The sticker requires cars to be legally operating in the state, including proper licensing. Assuming that you reside in California, you are required to register your car within 20 days of establishing your...
I am fairly certain that "model year" only has relevance for financial reporting, not for consumer purposes. While Tesla does not report sales the way others do, they do need to have an objective marker of some kind for financial reporting purposes to survive audits. It also explains why their...
When I moved to New York last year (from CA), I was not asked whether I paid sales tax on my Volt (which was purchased). I was not required to pay any kind of tax. I did, like your sister, have to pay sales tax on my Audi (which was leased).
I suppose it depends on how long ago you lived in NJ and whether you are leasing. If you were a bona fide NJ resident and purchased it outright, NY has no basis for imposing a sales tax on you. The only basis for the state to do so would be to contend that you temporarily "moved" somehow to NJ...
While I'm not convinced that the ELR is really priced correctly, I'm amazed at how quickly this car is selling in Northern California. The local dealer here can't keep these cars in stock, selling each of its ELRs within two days. I just wanted to take a peek at it, and I haven't had a chance...
I think that the price comparison is probably a little apples to oranges. Here's why:
Probably a fully-loaded car. Based on the low production volumes, they're going to have to spec this car virtually fully loaded. The only options will likely be paint and dealer-installable options like...
To those who have the Alcantara headliner, I am wondering how much of the roof is even there to be lined with so much glass. Since the price of the headliner doesn't go down if you order the pano, do you think that it's still worth it? I'm getting ready to finally place my order after having...
