I reached out and took delivery around 4/19/19. So far, I have received zero follow ups. I'm pretty sure this is a Tesla tactic to make the owners feel fed up enough to not ask for a refund anymore or add some sort of conditions that would invalidate their refund.

Well if you were planning to get autopilot then yeah it's cheaper by 500-1000$. Though, autopilot in Canada is more like for fun feature. It has too little data and different variables here than in US.

They did for like a month, then released a 150 km version on May 1st to get the Federal 5k rebate. Though, at the same time Tesla increased the overall price of the Model 3 which counters 70% or more of the rebate. So, there wasn't much to gain out of the rebate for future owners. Meanwhile...

Honestly, I don't think anyone could really answer your question. Because Tesla is still not doing the downgrades for anyone. Side note, autopilot is probably only good in certain places. It's pretty useless outside of US for now.

I have to say I'm quite excited to see people replying in this thread too. Yes, it doesn't seem like they will have any official response. It feels like Tesla likes to spread the good news across all social media and leave out the bad stuff.

That's not exactly a refund, more like "exchange". People who didn't take autopilot in the first place was either budget or it's useless to them.
