    Supercharger - Yakima, WA

We live in Moses Lake, WA, and my wife's best friend is in Kelowna, BC. Whenever the border opens up again, the Supercharger in Osoyoos, BC would be helpful. We'll be moving to the Green Bay, WI area, and have many friends in Ottawa, ON. When we drove an ICE vehicle, we did this trip via...

    Supercharger - Yakima, WA

I've been waiting for a Supercharger in Yakima since we got our Model 3. But given that the other two locations I've been hoping for have been in the permit stage for over 500 days and over 950 days, I'll believe this when it is in service.

    Dc combo for USA port

They don't make the only one that is currently on the market, which was the original subject of this thread. I was tempted to buy that one, until the rumors of this Tesla one appeared.

    Dc combo for USA port

They may want to lock out CCS chargers, if they believe there is a risk that they could somehow damage or degrade the battery. How is the charging current and voltage managed if charging at a DC charger? I assume the car will stop charging if the input voltage is outside acceptable limits...

    Acceleration/Rollout measurement

    Let's do some simple calculations, assuming we have a car that can accelerate from a dead stop to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. For simplicity, we will assume the acceleration is constant. 60 mph = 88 ft/s V = at a = V / t = (88 ft/s) / 4.2 s = 21 ft / s^2 V^2 = 2 * a * s V = sqrt( 2 a s) = sqrt(...

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

This is definitely V3 charger. I have seen over 200kW there for a short period until the SOC increased. Maybe there is some temporary issue with the site. Or some issue with your car. Or the SOC was not low enough to allow high current, or the battery had not fully reached optimum temperature.

Cannot reply to SMS using iPhone

No, I have not yet solved the problem. I have since updated my iPhone to iOS 14, and there is some chance that the OS update could clean out some cruft on the phone that was causing the issue. I will try again once I am back in the US in a few weeks.

Cannot reply to SMS using iPhone

Yes, I'm using Apple's Messages app.

Cannot reply to SMS using iPhone

Yes, I followed the prompts on the display, and pressed the right wheel again to send. This worked perfectly a few weeks ago.

Cannot reply to SMS using iPhone

I'm having issues with replying to text messages from my Model 3, with SW 2020.28.6, on MCU 3 (but I think the issue started with 2020.28.5). My iPhone X with iOS 13.6.1 is connected via Bluetooth. Incoming messages work correctly. I can do the normal right button dance to dictate a reply and...

The grocery store has a deli. There is also Guido's Brick Oven Pizza in the same parking lot.

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

If I'm at Spokane looking for a charge, Seaside isn't a great backup option. Perhaps this info was meant for the Seaside charger thread

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

I drove to Spokane and back this morning, and stopped by the Spokane Supercharger to check it out. There were no visible signs of damage to explain the outage, but the one stall I tried (the third from the north end) did not work at all. I had stopped at Ritzville to pick up a few kw-hr, as I...

    Supercharger - Spokane, WA

PlugShare has a report from yesterday PM saying all stalls were out of service. Two Teslas tried them all. I might be heading to Spokane this weekend. I’ll plan my trip to avoid a need to charge there, but I’ll stop and try them if I pass by.

    Supercharger - Moses Lake, WA

The other thing is the battery temperature needs to be optimal to get full speed. That will be difficult if you live in ML, as it would need a fair bit of driving, with the Supercharger selected as a destination, so it preconditions the battery.
