Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Adding my pics to this thread even if it's a bit late. I had this issue today and stumbled upon this thread when researching this issue. I made an appointment at the local SC for alignment for what it's worth.

    Model S refresh rattles/creaks

I have a rattle at the driver's side. I think it is from that little speaker overhead. Does anyone else have that?

(21 Plaid) Something is popping when my wheel turns or the car moves at low speeds.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue but more severe. Additionally, my wheels make an incredibly loud, sudden sound when the yoke is turned all the way (either way) and slowly driving forward or backwards, as if something is breaking in the car.

What happened to the Model X

Personally, I think it's a common misconception on this and other forums to think that the D was released as a test vehicle for the drive train of the Model X. I believe the D was released because Tesla is under pressure to release new products with the continued re-scheduling of the release of...

What happened to the Model X

I have absolutely no insider knowledge of Tesla's inner workings whatsoever, but sometimes the facts are right in front of our eyes and we can chose to draw our conclusions or ignore them altogether. My question then becomes: Do you believe Tesla can possibly engineer the Model X to have...

What happened to the Model X

Yes, sorry for the implied certainty. It's abundantly clear to me, based on initial experiences that P85D owners have, that range is what's holding back Model X. I would speculate that ~20% reduction in rated range due to dual motors, size, weight, drag, etc. bringing the EPA rating to at or...

What happened to the Model X

It's now abundantly clear (particularly in context of the P85D range issues) that the reason the Model X is continuously delayed is due to its inability to generate sufficient range with a 85kwh battery. It's not Falcon Wing Doors that are holding back any reveal of the Model X - it's the fact...

About time to unveil the D and something else

It's not about a drag race -- it's about showing off the autopilot features to a crowd. The best place to do that is at an airport.

    SolarCity (SCTY)

We have shorted and bought puts on SCTY, probably for more money than most people would risk on this stock. We got lucky with timing (~$80) and took profits when the stock hit ~$52. We're still negative on the stock. We list all our trades on our site. We take real positions in crowdsourced...

    SolarCity (SCTY)

Great article by the FT that sums up nicely what I think is SCTYs biggest problem: Financial Times | Error | Akamai Error i know some of you have responded with an answer to this but it's worth a read for others joining the discussion and to show that these risks are real.

    SolarCity (SCTY)

sleepyhead alluded to this already but I believe got tangled up in this discussion about growth; it makes no sense to look at book value and deduct earnings growth from it. It simply does not make sense. If that we're the case anyone could issue equity and claim earnings growth. For those who...
