anyone purchased and use a pre-cut ppf before?

Has anyone tried the hydrotek films from northtints.store? these are slightly cheaper and based on the simple chart, they don't look worse on paper compared to the others. However, i can't find any reviews on them and am wary of going with an unheard of brand.

    Feedback on PPF results

Thanks for all the feedback. I hardly think that close to $2k for a front PPF is cheap, but comparatively it may be a “good” deal. I guess I was just expecting this company that is well talked about on this forum and has hundreds of reviews across google and yelp with 5 star average to delivery...

It’s actually bulk cut and not tucked in because they didn’t disassemble any pieces.

    Feedback on PPF results

I recently had a full front PPF installed on my new Model Y at a local reputable installer that is well-talked about on this forum. I felt that the price was reasonable and the people were nice; however, a week later after the rain has stopped and some of the air bubbles have dried, I looked at...

Edit Design without affecting price now?

I’m the inverse of many of you and went from an MSM MYP w/ tow hitch to an MSM MYLR w/ tow hitch. I ordered back in November 2021 and have been holding off filling in detailed registration details because I’m moving states in the next couple of months and was planning to take delivery between...

More TSBs out there than I thought for my car

Are all of these TSBs supposed to be covered under warranty, assuming we’re still within the warranty period? I tried to get my rear break dust retrofit but they wanted to charge me for it. I ended up cancelling that appointment.

Another Solar Panel Price Change? (July 15, 2020)

Wow how did I not realize that! Thanks for this—I guess I had signed myself up blindly.

Another Solar Panel Price Change? (July 15, 2020)

I’m in an interesting situation. I know the price went into effect last week and I did not notice and paid my $10k on Friday 7/17 for the small system. Had my panels installed about a couple weeks ago but not everything is through with my utility company so the solar system isn’t fully deployed...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Shouldn't you be getting 325 miles at full? If you are consistently not getting close to that at full charge then yes, there is degradation.

MASTER THREAD: USB drives that work with Sentry and TeslaCam

Are you using a usb hub? I had the same error message and just swapped it with another usb plug such that the usb drive is plugged directly to the usb port of the car.

    WTB: 1 x 18" OEM wheels

Interested in buying 1 single spare 18 inch OEM wheel that has no curb rash. TPMS preferred, but tires are optional. Can meet anywhere in the SF Bay Area, thanks!

First Long Range Trip in the Model 3

279 Wh/mi is pretty high considering you were doing a lot of starting and stopping. You will burn through your battery pretty quick with that usage, especially if driving highway.

Clicking / Rattle sound from Driver Seat

Yes! I thought I was going crazy but this happens to me too, though infrequently. I tried readjusting the height of the seatbelt against the b pillar to the highest setting and I haven't heard it since. Hoping this has fixed it.

What are easiest and budget friendly mods to give our new M3 a slightly individual look?

The zero loss in efficiency is not true and literally defies physics. The OEM 18s are more efficient than the OEM 19s.
