    Supercharger - Huntsville, AL

My hopes of charging here on our Christmas visit back home are fading. Looks like another year of hauling it all the way over to Athens. I’m glad they are building this but Huntsville is a tech heavy city, Tesla could sell a LOT of cars here if there was a service center and superchargers for...

    Tesla logos: plastidip v decals

Yes, you need to make sure to get it thick enough so that it peels easily. I put 6 coats on roughly 10 minutes between coats then I let the last coat dry for an hour. Worked great the first time. -Jim

3D Maxpider Model Y Floor Mats

When did you all order from Part Catalog? I've got an order from June 21st but don't have a shipping notice yet. If I didn't make this shipment from China, I may consider looking elsewhere.

    Tesla logos: plastidip v decals

Plasti-Dip is quick and easy. If you don't like it, you peel it off and try again and you can go to lowes for all the stuff and do it today. I plasti-dipped my rear emblems on car, and removed the T on the hood and did it off car. By far, I'd recommend doing it on car and masking off well. -Jim

19” Gemini Wheels - Powder Coating?

Thanks! I'll check that out. They are not compatible, that's why I posted the question. You can install them, but they won't do any good. -Jim

19” Gemini Wheels - Powder Coating?

I got my Gemini rims powder coated. I then installed Wheel Bands in an attempt to keep from getting curb rash. However, due to the lip on the wheels, I don't think the wheel bands will do any good at all. Any suggestions for a rim protector kit that will work with the lip of the gemini wheels? -Jim

    Supercharger - Tysons, VA

In talking with the sales people at Tysons Corner, two different employees told me that this would be a 45 stall installation. I said "45? Really?" They double confirmed. -Jim

Will NagGate turn in to the next AppleGate or will Tesla actually fix the problem

There is no way this would be possible in my AP1 car. I’d suggest taking your car in. Just to be clear, you do know it’s looking for a torque bias right? Are you balancing out the torque of one hand with the other, just exactly perfectly? -Jim

Will NagGate turn in to the next AppleGate or will Tesla actually fix the problem

I used to wait until the nag then slightly turn the wheel. After the last update, I discovered that is just as relaxing and comfortable to lightly hold the wheel. I drove 100 miles on AP today and didn’t get a single nag while very lightly resting my hand on the wheel at 5o’clock. I like it...

just curious...why are so many people installing dash cams?

So you can prove that you weren't at fault in an accident, or you can identify vandals, you can see who unplugged your car... etc.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

CR said it hit Tesla's spec of 133 ft on the first try in two different vehicles. Subsequent tests on both vehicles showed significantly worse results. The 152 was the average. Brakes need to work well more than once. The guy who burned his Model 3 brakes out in 1 lap at Laguna Seca may have...

    Model 3P-D 0-60 prediction?

If "fair" means, "I wish" then yeah... Zippy chance of that happening. Fair is whatever the market will bear. -Jim
