    Openstreetmaps and FSD

It has been almost 2 months since your edit. Have you noticed a difference yet? I'm very curious about this.

Wiki Teslike Model Y Survey & Order Tracker Spreadsheet

Yeah, I was one of those who got a lower VIN (072xx red aero RWD) when others were getting VINs in the 09xxx range. After understanding that they weren't 100% sequential, it wasn't really a big deal to me. Maybe others made more of this discrepency. What I really liked about VINs and how...

    Software Update 2018.36.x

I just got this update as well. I got 2018.34.1 yesterday at the SC and then just got pushed 36.1 about an hour ago (first on ev-fw.com). I poked around and didn't see anything different than before 34.1. @bradhs, I specifically looked for "PIN to Drive" but didn't see it in the security setting.

    Model 3 Software Updates

Yesterday evening (Friday) I got 2018.26.3 after having 2018.26.1 for 7 days. I couldn't observe any difference so likely bug fixes.

    2018.24.8 25f83c2?

I'm in the same boat, still no update. I took delivery 2 days after yours for comparison reasons. I keep an eye on the updates at Tesla Firmware Upgrade Tracker Web App There were two model 3s that got the 2018.24.8 update today.

    Charge Port Door Needs service

I'm on my 3rd port so far (6 weeks). I had to take my 3 into the SC to fix the bottom right fog light (not coming on) and as I was leaving my house to go to the SC, I heard a strange vibration back near the charge port about 5 seconds after transitioning to Drive and moving forward. This...

    Distracted Driving with a monitor

One thing on the Model 3 that I have found to be quite excellent, to reduce distractions, is the voice assist. Not that I have used many other voice assist ants (Google Voice, Garmin GPS, Waze, Cortana), but the Model 3 frequently (in the high 90s percent) gets my "Navigate to ...." request...

    Distracted Driving with a monitor

Yes, that was a very detailed report. I skimmed much of it but was fairly impressed with their methods. Thanks for sharing this info.

    Phone as Key Issues

I keep my card in my wallet. I have tried it in a pocket in the middle of the wallet. There is about a 3/8" of cards and wallet/leather between the card and the sensor. It wasn't really reliable (maybe 50% of the time) so I moved it to the location where bills are normally kept, which leaves...

    2018.14.13 update

And now the navigation slider is working for me again (after no updates). It just started working a few days after my last post.

    Phone as Key Issues

On key/fob issue I had in the past was on my Lexus ES300 key (which included the lock/unlock button on the key itself). Over time, the key would eventually break at the location where it joined to my key ring. The key/fob still worked but it just didn't stay affixed to my key ring which meant...

    Distracted Driving with a monitor

I've been showing off my Model 3 for the last month that I have had it and recently one of the people looking at it was wondering when the first case of distracted driving was going to make it to the courts for these cars with large (and potentially small) monitors as a primary human/car...

Poll: Model 3 Phone Key Failure Rate

This worked on Marshmallow. Unfortunately I already had location turned on for the Tesla app. Thanks anyway. I'm still having relatively poor success rate on first try. It is still almost 100% if I start the app and it shows connected. PS: I really don't want another key fob on my...
