I was told in the past that charge port issues have to be dealt with at the service center since it is part of the HV system. I recently tried to schedule service (for an intermittent issue) and didn’t get mobile options. How did you get mobile service scheduled to address that?

I have a complete kit that I won't be using. I had it installed in my S60 > 5 years ago, and got the additional hardware to detect forward/reverse but never installed it in our X.

I was in Alameda today and was thinking of charging there for a few minutes. The Tesla nav wanted me to turn right inside the Posey tube into the parking garage and then pretended I had arrived before I was exiting the tunnel. You have to go underneath I880 before you can turn right on 7th. WTF?

Yes, but Flagstaff to Grants is close to 250 mi and not doable in most Teslas, definitely not in our X90. Would need another SC on the way such as in Holbrook.

When I arrive with <10% it is my experience that charging starts relatively slowly and ramps up above 10% or so. So it doesn’t save time to charge less full and arrive that low. I presume that is done to protect nearly empty cells, and it may be different with newer batteries. Then there is...
