Took Delivery of 2023 MYLR. Found issues with dirty hazy headlights and door closing. Reported within 24 hrs and <100 miles. What are my options?

The dreaded within spec. Do go through all potential issues and open tickets. Once you are over that 100 miles, it is going to be tougher to get minor things fixed. Do ask for a loaner if the car is going to stay there longer than a day.

What have you done to your Y lately?

Monthly detailing job. Also clipped on some loose fasteners that was making the Model Y chirp. Feels like a brand new car.

Dashcam Rattle + Frunk Rattle (Any tips?)

Yah, this is not my Tesla but took a screencap of it and marked the area in red. Basically if you get in your car (either driver or passenger side) Stick your head towards the windshield, look up and then back. That's the area marked. You can't see it when you're looking forward or if you are...

Dashcam Rattle + Frunk Rattle (Any tips?)

It should just snap right up in place. Just push it up firmly (Don't use too much force). Just to clarify, I'm talking about this area that I circled in red.

Wondering why Tesla does not offer a rwd L/R with the same battery?

Could be due to how to make the $ make sense. It'll be cheaper, longer range and have less features technically (AWD). Not sure how they can spin that up and still make the AWD LR model relevant.

My 2023 Model Y Now Lives @ Service Center

Yeps, about the same experience as mine. The gotcha is the exchange of services/hands. Tesla will likely contract a 3rd party to do the body work. I don't think there's a checklist or QC being done by Tesla after the work is done. They service a lot of cars that they will likely take the body...

Dashcam Rattle + Frunk Rattle (Any tips?)

Okay, per suggestion from the other thread, I just had my wife check the roof liner, the one all the way up at the front, where the dashcam/rear view mirror housing touches the liner. That WHOLE entire liner from driver to passenger side was OFF. She pushed it up starting from the dashcam area...

    Chirping noise

I just posted here to find this chirping. Can't believe you got it on camera, lol. How did you fix it, just pushing up the interior trim up? Is it supposed to be held up somewhere? Edit: Thanks for this. Just had my wife check while I'm at work and sure enough, the entire liner was unclipped...

Dashcam Rattle + Frunk Rattle (Any tips?)

Hey everyone, The suspect car is a Tesla Model Y in November '22, and the rattles are driving me insane. I don't want to leave my car at the dealership if they won't solve the problem, so I was wondering if anyone has taken their cars in for a rattle and could share what the Tesla folks did to...

First time EV owner's 2022 MYLR impressions

yah, not sure either. I've learned to live with it but honestly, at 2K miles on the car, so many scratches and chips on the windshield already. Not even trying to replace it unless there's a crazy crack because it'll like get chipped the moment I drive it out of the lot, lol.

First time EV owner's 2022 MYLR impressions

Cleaned the MY today. We have put around 1600 miles on it since purchasing it and already have about 5 chips on the windshield...my Mazda 2014 has around 140,000+ miles and one chip. Drives to the same places and if anything I take the Mazda from Norcal to Socal often. Pretty sure it's not the...

Regarding windshield, is it me or is the Tesla windshield pretty sensitive? I swear if there's something that grazes it when driving, it'll chip!

    How's life without Premium Connectivity?

About a couple of months without Prem connectivity and so far there are definitely some things that I thing I'm missing out on, like direct connect to sentry when parking at sketchy places and this feeling that when I use the map, it's not getting the latest update so it would tell me to take...

Cargo cover not as good as expected

I wonder if this was intended or if we're re-engineering their engineering, lol. I do the same too. Showed my wife and she looked at me funny. She used to drive a Lexus RX350 with the retractable cover.
